I have a moderate scar on my head from when I had brain cancer. The chemo and radiation treatments left my already fine hair thinner. The area where the scar and metal plates are never grew back. I have worn wigs and done keratin bond hair extensions. I am not sure why I waited so long to try clip in extensions. This was my first attempt. I usually have trouble keeping hair clips and bobby pins in my hair. It’s so fine, they end up sliding out quickly. This extension set actually stayed in the whole day. With synthetic hair, you never know if it’s going to be good for a single wear or many. I wanted to go all in with testing this set. I wore these the whole day. I did housework, got sweaty, sat in front of my fan. I even did the ultimate test and tried on a few tight fitting tops by the pull over your head method. This is one that can destroy a synthetic wig in a single try on. I purposefully didn’t brush the hair to see how it fared. I’ll include pictures below of two sets of extensions. The first image is what they looked like after my no brushing trial run. They were fairly tangled. I was worried they wouldn’t make it. For the second picture, I held the top close to the clip area to support and not damage them. I brushed in small sections. These are the results. For the third picture, I spritzed them with water. No product or washing had been done. They look much better than I expected after first seeing how tangled they were. In real world situations, I would be brushing these throughout the day. While trying this set out, I thought it looked good and moved like real hair. Following the instructions, my hair blended well and hid the extension clips from being obvious or visible. They weren’t too heavy. There wasn’t any pulling on my hair or pain. They also didn’t have any strong scents or chemical smells. I haven’t washed or conditioned them yet. If there are any problems when I do, I will update this review. Overall I am happy with this product.

I have natural long black waist length fine thinner hair for reference, but wanted to add thickness. These are synthetic clip ins as to be expected at this price point with this level of quality. They are very densely packed. Fairly heavy. They are smooth and shiny and look like natural healthy hair. Since these clip ins are synthetic, you might have to comb them carefully a few times during the day since they may get a little tangled. I combed them a few times with a wide comb while holding the root. I've combed them while clipped in and also before using. They really don't look synthetic. They blend seamlessly into my existing long black hair. Since they are very densely packed, I only used the four clip and the three clip. When I used all the clips, my hair started to look way too thick and wig-like even with my thin long fine hair. I think that's is great because I have mix and match options. I can wear half the clips, and when they wear out, I can use the others. I haven't worn clip ins in several years so I had to try it a few times to hide them. They look great! This set comes with an instruction card for wash and style instructions. Cons: I did notice some slippage and had to readjust the clips, and the clips did get stuck in my hair a bit when taking them out. Definitely don't like that part.

I've never used hair extensions before so I thought I'd give these a try. I love having long hair but once every year or two I get fed up with some aspect of it and I chop off a bunch. The presentation of the box is nice, and includes several useful items. The hair comes in a single netting that looked maybe stressed to its limits and looked more like fuzzy fabric than netting. The hair itself feels nice and (in my opinion) looks a lot like real hair. I like how it comes, long and wavy, so I haven't tried any styling products on it nor have I tried cleaning it yet as it hasn't needed it. For a first-time user, getting them on is a little difficult but with practice anything is possible, right? They definitely have a sort of heft to them so if you're wearing all four, you'll definitely notice the difference. At the time of this review, the cost is $20 but shows a 50% coupon. Since this is my first experience, I cannot compare the price with anything but I thought $20 was a good deal for what you get.
