We purchased size 8 in the color light purple. My daughter is 6 years old and on the taller side for her age. She’s roughly 50” tall and 50lbs or something like that. She is tall and slim and wears anywhere between a size 6-8 depending. The size 8 is a little big but it’s not a big deal. Plus we have room to layer if needed. She may be able to wear it next year as well. This brand ski jacket lives up to the positive reviews. We have purchased this brand ski jacket before so we already know it’s a good jacket. It’s warm, durable, water resistant, comfortable and affordable. My husband just purchased the men’s version in blue as you can see sitting on the bed. I would recommend this brand ski jackets for both adults and kids. I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s going strong. We normally would’ve went with Columbia in the past but since we discovered this brand we haven’t purchased anything else for the family as far as ski jackets. My daughter loves the color and says it’s warm and comfortable. We are ready for Jackson hole skiing. :)

True to size. Bought a size up so sweaters could still be warm. Honestly you do not need to size up. Kids say they keep them really warm. Do warm they complain about wearing them in the car. Keeps them dry as well. Great buy.

Bought this jacket for my 9 year old in a size 10/12 and 14/16. I returned the 10/12 because it wasn’t enough room for her to grow into. She is 4’6 85 lbs and growing like a weed in the past year. The design is nice, thick but not too heavy. I hope it works well for us when we move from the warm desert to snow.
