As I get older I keep trying to stay in shape as best I can and I have been working on putting together the basic exercise equipment to aid in maintaining muscle tone. This rope is a great addition to my mini gym and it is good looking, good feeling top notch quality rope. The ends have heat shrink on them to keep the rope from unraveling or fraying and the end that has the steel “I” hook is securely attached with bolts through the rope as well as steel that wraps around the rope, very secure. The rope is about a 1 1/2” in diameter, which is a good size for me. The nylon material, which the rope I have is made from, feels good - both in size and the material it is made of. Even though the palms of my hands do not itch, the rope has a good scratching feel, therapeutic in itself. The rope has no odor at all which adds to it’s appeal. When watching a movie that has someone hanging by one hand and they reach for another’s hand to pull them up is fantasy in my world. It looks good in the movie, but me just pulling myself up with both hands is a challenge, to say the least. I hope with more use it becomes easier. The rope does come with fingerless gloves which is a tremendous help for extended workouts, they really help to keep your grip even though they aren’t the best quality, they show how much gloves do help. I couldn’t ask for a more simple form of exercise, it’s just so easy to grab the rope and pull my own weight up, especially hand over hand. I do cheat by using my feet to cling on - but, I’m older and I do what I have to do, the rope is just plain functional and for the money I couldn’t ask for a more practical way to get my exercise - a true value.

This is a great quality rope. We are able to feed the rope through the top loop when we don't have a palace to hook it on to. It is strong enough to hold up someone over 200 pounds and it is easy to roll up and fit in a duffle bag. It is long enough for us to get a decent climb up when we get it on a low hanging branch. It does have some weight to it which helps keep it from swaying in the wind. It has worked great for our heavy workout days at the park.

This help rope is perfect for home gyms. It has good grip, it can be mounted a few feet off of the floor so you can get a good climb, and it doesn't fray easily. The connection on the end lets it get mounted very easily from something as basic as a hook on a rafter or a bolt run through a rafter to a more permanent item. Quality is evident and the 1/5" diameter is perfect for adult use.

I originally bought this rope for our garage gym setup to use for CrossFit-style climbs and strength training (it’s great for that, by the way, as long as you have the vertical clearance!). But like most gear in our house, it was quickly commandeered by the kids and now lives part-time in our backyard as part of their makeshift fort setup. We always store it in the shed when not in use, so I can’t speak to long-term durability in the elements. That said, the texture is excellent - very similar to what you’d find in a professional gym. It has that natural hemp-like feel with a slight wax coating that makes it smoother and easier to grip. It came with a pair of gloves, which was a thoughtful extra, though we never used them (calluses are kind of the point, right?). The regular price feels high, to be honest, but seems pretty standard for this kind of heavy-duty rope. If it’s still on sale, now’s the time to grab it. Strong, sturdy, and gets the job done - whether you’re chasing PRs or playing pirate ship in the backyard!

This is an excellent climbing rope for your gym. Home or professional. The rope is dressed very well and has some of the nicest end finishes I've seen. They use a what looks like either a hot glue or epoxy under the heat shrink tubing which secures everything together and stops all movement of the rope at its ends. The "D" ring makes for a very compact attachment point, effectively increasing the height you can climb with the same amount of rope and you lose the bulk of the 3 strand splice. I'm very impressed with these ropes. I was able to get my hands on the Black and orange, white and orange, and white and blue ropes. I have a number of natural fiber ropes in my gym already and these are, without a question, going to replace every natural fiber rope we have. These don't shed, feel nicer to on your palms (the natural fiber makes my skin crawl when it catches on my calluses), and are without a question more durable. The lack of shedding alone makes it worth it. The downside is that these ropes is that they are on the slimmer side. compared to a 2-inch rope, these are on the slimmer side, possibly making them more difficult for some to climb. The synthetic fiber also seems to be worse at wicking sweat while climbing. This may effect grip for some but it hasn't been an issue for me. The fact of the matter is that a 1.5-inch natural fiber rope becomes thicker with use and fills the hand better than a 1.5-inch synthetic rope. I'd recommend going with the orange and black rope. That one seems to be the best bang for the buck and also appears to be the same material as the white ropes. They all feel the same in the hand when you're climbing on them, and the black will hide discoloration from use better than the white ropes unless its being hammered by chalk. These are by far my favorite climbing ropes to use in the gym. They are very durable and far superior to the natural fiber ropes, imho. Highly recommended.

The rope feels sturdy and well-made—perfect for both kids and adults. It was easy to install and adds a fun, active element to our backyard setup.
