I really like this climbing rope. It is high quality from the top to the bottom. At the top is the metal hook that is bolted into the rope. I was impressed at the heavy duty appearance of the metal bracket. The rope itself is black, has a good solid grip quality, meaning it's not slippery. The end of the rope has been carefully wrapped in rubber. This helps to keep it from fraying as it swings around on the ground. I have a 12ft Garage, I put 5 knots in it so my kids could climb up. Perfect height. Overall, I am happy with it and I do recommend it to others. It also comes with gloves, they are nice enough, but sort of an afterthought freebie.

The rope has a good feel and heft, and the attachment ring is well secured. One feature that isn't really mentioned in the description is the nice pair of finger-tip-less gripping gloves that comes with it, with velcro wrist straps.
