  • Solid roof rope at a good price.
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
Strong, solid rope. Bought as safety rope for roof work. It’s stiff, but that’s to be expected at this thickness. The weave is tight and it seems to be great quality. Only been in use for a year, but so far there’s no fraying or signs of wear.

  • Good rope, but I need to know what is under the yellow heat shrink wrap before I trust the 'bight'
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
JIUXQT Climbing Rope I have looked at other safety ropes on Amazon and some have a plastic eye in the bight like this one, and others are metal. Intuitively I would prefer metal believing it to be stronger, but I confess I am not a rope expert so I do not know if there is a benefit to plastic over metal. Secondly, other safety ropes seem to be stitched together at the bight around the plastic eye, they are then covered with clear plastic heat shrink so you can see the stitching. There is no mention in the seller's listing if this rope is stitched but if it is you cannot tell as the plastic shrink is opaque yellow. I personally would like to know what is going on under the shrink wrap before I could trust this as a safety rope. The shrink wrap look and feels exactly the same stuff as you would use to heat shrink an electrical connector. I would worry about tear resistance and what would happen if a cut started at an edge, would it shear the whole length? SELLER'S AMAZON LISTING "Our climbing rope can be easily rolled into a roll, and the drawstring bag can be easily carried with you." Not sure if this is an error in the listing or an error in my shipment but my rope did not come with a drawstring bag. REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely. ... show more

  • Good rope for rigging – stiff and ties and unties well - 64’ yellow = orange
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
Very good rope at a good price per foot. I will not use it for climbing life support, but it is a great rope for rigging. The rope did not come with any standard rating certification. It is a little stiffer compared to similar diameter braided nylon ropes with a larger bend radius. This Kernmantle rope ties and unties very well. For rigging it has convenient sewn in eyes at both ends. In a pull, latch, and shift tackle mechanical advantage system it holds fast dead stopped using a Prusik Knot. I will use this nice long strong rope to raise and lower my too heavy and too awkward ladder stand. I chose the “yellow” color but I got a really nice orange color. I particularly like the true orange color that I can use in the deer hunting woods. I suppose I just like true orange and too many so called orange things are actually closer to the forbidden red color that must never to be seen in turkey hunting woods. ... show more

  • High quality, multi-purpose
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
I got this for hanging a large 2 person swing in my backyard. The rope is 16mm and comes with the looped ends heavily stitched for safety and shrink wrapped. The tree is a live oak and I have hung other swings from it in the past but wanted this one to be moveable, so I don't harm the tree leaving it in one spot. The 65ft length allows me to have enough rope to hoist it over the branch and then use the remainder to fasten it around the base of the tree. The included carabiners appear to be safety rated, but if I were to use this for climbing purposes, I'd only use trusted name brand gear. Compared to hardware bulk utility rope, this is much better quality while being comparable in price per foot. ... show more

  • Big, Big Rope!
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
THIS is a rope! Even though the dimensions were right there in the description, we were pretty shocked at how huge this rope was in diameter. No doubt it will handle some serious business, though we won't be using for climbing. Rather, we wanted to have a quality rope for car carry in case of emergencies. A rope can be invaluable for any number of situations -- and this one will fit the bill just fine. And at about $30 (as of this writing) it appears a great value for 64 feet. ... show more

  • Good strong rope.
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
I don't do a lot of climbing, but it will hold up great if you do climb. I have been using it around the house to pull stumps and help bundle wood. It works great for that as well. The rope does show signs of wear, but again I am beating it up pretty badly, any rope would show some wear. These heavy duty clips are amazing, makes it easy to tie up and drag heavy things. I have not used the gloves, but I doubt anyone is getting this for them. Very good product. ... show more

  • Great for Tree Felling
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
This is nice rope at a very reasonable price. I'm using it for pulling trees to control felling direction. It's strong. I tested it by pulling a log with it, probably 700LB plus drag. That's more than enough for what I'm doing with it. The 64ft length is a good length for a medium large tree. I can get it high enough then attach another rope between it and my truck. ... show more

  • Robust Rope.
Color: Yellow Size: 64feet
I'm not a mountain climber, but this rope feels plenty sturdy enough to hold me up. Personally, I would not rely on the carabiners though if I were to actually hold myself with them. I feel for local use such as at a campsite this would be great, but I would still use reputable established brands if I were to take up mountain climbing. ... show more
