  • It works!
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I used it this morning for the first time. I spent about 3 hours outside and NO mosquito bites. Love it!

  • Smells good and works okay for a natural product
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I will say I was shocked by how small this product is. Because of the design, I assumed it would be the size of a deodorant stick. It's much smaller but that was my own mistake assuming the size. Me and my family tried it out a couple different evenings here in Alabama where the bugs come out as early as March :( the stick has a pretty good smell. I thought it would smell like citronella but it actually smells mostly of lemon. It's a very pleasant smell. It goes on easy and doesn't leave a greasy residue like I thought it would. As far as effectiveness, I'd probably give it a 7 out 10. It didn't keep all the mosquitoes and little gnats away but we also didn't get bit as much as we would have not using this repellent. For the size and the price, I'm not sure if i would buy it again. We mostly use the sprays, even one from Cliganic so I do like their products. I'll probably keep this in my bag for touchups between sprays, or if we forget the spray. We did not try it on our face, but I don't use the sprays on my face either. ... show more

  • Smells nice, smaller than expected Smells nice, smaller than expected
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
I love walking in the woods all year round, but especially in the summer, which is when mosquitoes come out in obnoxious force. I’ve never been a fan of the smell of traditional bug spray, and at some point, I found out that there are possible cancer associations with DEET. So in recent years, I’ve tried to avoid the traditional bug spray, often by waving a stick with pine needles around my face and head when I walk, which is not the most optimal. I ordered this all-natural insect repellent stick by Cliganic in the hopes that it would keep annoying mosquitoes away without DEET. The stick itself is definitely smaller than I expected - the listing photos make it look like a deodorant stick size, but it’s giving more travel-size vibes. The stick has a really lovely smell to it - I’m picking up on the clean beeswax scent and the blend of essential oils that smell herbal/botanical without being overwhelming (I definitely do not like wearing heavy scents on my skin.) As far as efficacy goes, I’ve been using this stick on walks lately, and I haven’t been plagued by mosquitoes. I haven’t seen a ton out, so it’s a little hard to tell how well it works, but it smells nice and it does appear to keep bugs away. ... show more

  • Didn't help.
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Wanted to love it. Didn't work for any of us. I slathered it all over my kids and I while in the backyard. Suburban life, not out in the country surrounded by woods. Got bit up a lot still. Tried for a few days.

  • Pretty Good Pretty Good
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is a really convenient little mosquito repellent to keep on hand, especially for quick outings or throwing in a bag. It’s much smaller than I expected (definitely not deodorant-sized), but that also makes it super portable. The stick format is easy to use—just swipe it on without any mess or spray, and it doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky feeling on the skin. The scent is actually really nice too, more fresh and lemony than overpowering. In terms of performance, I’d say it helps reduce bites but isn’t a total force field. It worked well for lighter bug situations and short periods outside, but in heavier mosquito conditions, you may still get the occasional bite. I do like that it’s DEET-free and made with more natural ingredients, which makes it feel a bit gentler for everyday use. Overall, it’s a handy option for travel or touch-ups—easy to apply, smells good, and works reasonably well, just with some limits depending on how intense the bugs are. ... show more

  • Good Scent but Doesn’t Last Long Good Scent but Doesn’t Last Long
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This mosquito repellant stick has a nice lemongrass scent. I do find that I deal with less bugs when I apply it. However, the scent doesn’t last very long, especially when applied on your skin. At most, it lasts about an hour. I find that you get a little more longevity when you apply it on your clothing, where it’s less likely to rub off or get absorbed, but not by too much. The other thing is that it is very small. I thought it would be the size of a deodorant stick, but it’s much smaller than that (like the size of 2-3 lip balm sticks). Overall, when it works, it works, but it doesn’t work for long. Frequent reapplication will be necessary. ... show more

  • Works about as well as Off or Cutter
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
Got this for a decent drop to Florida. I couldn't really bring aerosol cans on my carryon. This is about the size of a travel stick of deodorant. It doesn't feel as greasy as the spray on stuff. I got a couple bites but that happens with the 1000% deet stuff too. Overall, I'd buy it again. Especially with the small size of the tube. It's nice for travel ... show more

  • Works well, but not my favorite texture
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1)
This is one of those products that works… but the experience isn’t my favorite. I can honestly say I didn’t get any mosquito bites while wearing it, so as far as effectiveness goes, it did its job. That said, I did still end up with some gnats sticking to me, so it’s not a total force field. The biggest downside for me is the application. The stick itself is very small, and the product is pretty thick—you have to rub it on and then kind of rub it in, and it leaves a slightly sticky feeling on the skin that sticks around until you wash it off. I know it’s not super expensive, but with how small it is, I feel like you’d go through it pretty quickly if you’re using it regularly. Overall, for a natural mosquito repellent, it performs well and I appreciate the ingredients, but the texture and application just aren’t my personal preference. Not bad at all—just not my go-to. ... show more
