Hollow And Cavity Back Construction Hollow long irons (4i-7i) provide more forgiveness with lower, deeper weight distribution, while cavity back short irons (8i-DW) provide more control when attacking the pin. Variable High Strength Steel Face A variable high strength HT1770M steel face insert delivers explosive ball speeds for increased distance, even on heel and toe impacts. V-Shaped Sole Featured in both the cavity back and hollow designs, the V-Shaped Sole improves turf interaction for better speed retention at impact. Tour Zip Grooves Tour Zip Grooves and Laser Milling deliver maximum spin for optimal control throughout the Launcher UHX Irons.

These irons are a game changer. Literally gonna change because these hit so different than my old set of cavity irons. One thing useful to note, I'm no pro at this, I felt more weight at the toe. Feels more forgiving at the toe hits. Looking forward at hitting these more. The ball flys off the long irons with no ringing in the hands. I took all the new clubs to the driving range. I hit each one about ten times. The 4-iron cracked in my hand. It broke 4" from the end on the grip. I contacted Amazon and they said they would send me a new 4-iron and I was to return the broken club in its box. A few weeks later I received a complete new set of clubs. I was perplexed. I took out the new 4 iron. Put a note on the old broken 4-iron and affixed the label on the box and returned the complete set with the broken 4-iron. ... show more
