I love this rake. I had another and I broke, so this is my second one. I like that the size is adjustable and with that comes the force of the rake as well. Wider is gentler, etc. I will say that I found these rakes for $12 new at my local Habitat for Humanity store.

Great concept, but keeps failing to hold straight. The plastic know that sizes lenght keeps coming loose. The tongs turn to the right side constantly . Forcing realigning of the head. WOrks great.

I bought this rake because of the reviews I read before buying it. I have never been so disappointed in a product. I gave it to the man who does my yard work and he said the handle does not extend, one of the prongs was bent, and the handle would not stay on. It kept coming off in his hand. Not only that but the rake part would not even open. Of course I returned it promptly. Buyer beware.

I love these types of rakes, and am glad to finally get another after being without for a while. They're very good at combing the grass to remove dead blades, sticks and leaves, loosening up the surface of the soil, and lifting the grass blades for a healthier appearance. Much like how combing hair smooths it and stimulates the scalp- that's what this type of rake does for your lawn. This rake is much sturdier than the last one I had, and the locks hold up very well through vigorous use. I love that I can adjust this for my short reach, and that it stores so compactly. The business end of the rake can easily and securely be adjusted for getting into narrow or hard to reach areas. All mobile parts of the rake slide and lock easily, and the tines are strong enough to deal with the long grass in certain areas of my yard. My lawn has been needing just what this rake offers, and I highly recommend this easy to use, customizable effective, compactly storing rake! I got this for just some basic breaking of pine straw and stuff, but the handle bent in half for the tiniest bit of pressure while pulling leaves and pine straw.
