This 1/4” presser foot is perfect to be able to sew a straight seam that size. I like the narrow size so it works in small spaces. I haven’t tried it but you probably could sew a zipper with it.

I don't see anything wrong with this other than it doesn't fit my machine. The hole is about 1/32 forward of the needle. I think I'm going to try to extend the hole so it will work.
