I do not write many reviews for products I buy on Amazon, but this one I felt was worthy. I ordered the item on a Monday afternoon and it was being delivered by freight to my house on Friday afternoon. It was very well packaged and arrived with no damage. Each piece was very well individually packaged and very well protected. As many other reviews mention, it took about 2 hours to assemble. I left the main box in my garage and carried each piece up to my media room individually as it was close to 200lbs with the pallet it arrived on. I took the time to wood glue the pieces and the dowels together. That was probably way overkill, but I felt the time to do it would make sure I had no problems down the road. After I installed all the shelves, I decided that I would rather have a grommet through them to run the cables than to press the back out some and have the cables run out the backside of the shelf. I used white grommets, so you can tell the difference between white and the color of this product. Its an off white as others have mentioned, but we absolutely love the color. The electric fireplace looks like decent quality. I googled the part number of the fireplace and looks to be around a $300 insert. For the price of $950 plus tax, I think this fireplace is a pretty good bargain if you consider the fireplace would be $300 if bought by itself. Assembly was a breeze. My husband did it mostly by himself. We both lifted the top to put it on, it's heavy. The packing boxes are extremely heavy. The cabinet all comes in one box and the fireplace in a separate box. Everything is very carefully double wrapped in Styrofoam and plastic wrap. I have no idea how people have pictures of chipped pieces, unless they were wrapped that way or damaged while being assembled. I was very worried about part of the cabinet being on carpet and the rest on hardwood floor, but there are leveling feet that took care of that issue. The fire aspect is pretty cool. 5 different types of fires (flame color combos), 3 brightness levels of each and different speeds of the flames. You can have heat or run it with no heat, it's of course not as real looking as a fire, but it isn't as cheesy as I had feared. The color is an antique white. Ours sits in an open floor plan and our kitchen cabinets are a brighter white, not a big deal aesthetically for me. The top is a beautiful dark walnut. I was worried about the height but it is high enough, I would say it's well above waist height on me and I'm 5'8". I'm now in search of baskets to hide all of our junk that was stored in the old TV cabinet drawers. I like being about the keep the fireplace covered when not in use. ... show more

I gave this four stars for two reasons, one because the delivery service was terrible, the guy dropped the box in my parking lot and wouldn’t bring it up to my house for me. It was 194lb box and I couldn’t carry it therefore I had to open it outside and carry all the different pieces in one by one. The other reason I took a star away, is while the directions are clear and easy to understand, some parts did not line up correctly they were off by a hair and it was difficult to get them in place. The back paneling does not fit properly and even started cracking the tv stand in certain spots when I screwed it in so I had to stop. Also it is very creamy in color it is not a pure white what so all. Hopefully it’ll grow on me. All in all it’s pushed up against the wall so can’t see those tiny things, and it looks nice. ... show more

I had originally purchased a different tv/fireplace stand from a different company, but after waiting 3 weeks and it still hadn't shipped, I decided to look for a plan B item. When I came across this piece, I immediately went to cancel my other purchase. It was delivered 4 days earlier than the earliest expected delivery date (it shipped the same day I ordered it), and the delivery itself went super smoothly due to great communication by the delivery company. It is packaged really well (I am always borderline paranoid about big ticket items getting damaged), and it is super easy to assemble. This piece is a perfect addition to my living room. Its door design looks exactly like all the doors in my home, as well as the end tables flanking it. It's also as sturdy as it is beautiful and rustic. This is definitely NOT a plan B item, and I'm so glad I found it when I did. It's worth every bit of the great price. ... show more

The pictures showing this fireplace are deceiving. It shows white but actually is almost a soft yellow. SO disappointed. It is to expensive to send back so I am stuck with it. We are in the process of putting it together so I am not sure how it works. It doesn't fit in at all with my decor. I am going to have to find some one to paint is so it is really going to be an expensive piece. I am editing this review. Yes, I was disappointed in the color but the ease of putting together makes me change my thoughts on this piece. It works beautifully also. My husband built in by his self and he was impressed how all the parts were packaged and marked. Everything also fit to a tee. So easy build, nicely packaged and great options on the flame...if it were only farmhouse white!!! ... show more

Absolutely love this entertainment center. It’s really big, just what I wanted. I didn’t even know it came with the option of changing the color of the flames. We bought this piece for our sun room which gets chilly in MN winters. Spending more for this compared to other electric fireplaces made us wonder if it would be worth the extra cost. We are more than satisfied with both the look and quality of this furniture piece and would highly recommend. The “fire” is very realistic with multiple settings for style and speed.
