I bought this mattress in November of 2025 (give or take about 4 months ago now) to replace my old cheap full-sized mattress I also got from Amazon a couple years back. I'm going to go over why I bought this model, and what notes I have about the quality and feel. I work very long nights, and to survive without falling asleep mid-shift, I need to get as much sleep as I can during the day. With my old mattress, I would find myself waking up periodically, every couple hours, sometimes every 30 minutes, there were days where I would only get a collective 2-3hr of sleep because of this, and I largely believed that this was caused by simply not being comfortable enough in bed. Another problem that arose around the time I bought this mattress (and what happened to be my breaking point) was the back pain that started to creep in from not having proper back support. Now that we have the background, it's time to talk about the quality of the mattress, the quality of sleep I've been getting since making the change, and the way my day to day life has (spoiler alert) significantly improved. Quality: From the moment I opened the package and started to let the mattress air out, I could immediately tell that the build quality was much higher quality than my old mattress, and even better than some of the more expensive models I saw at some big box stores. The material has a nice cooling feel, and there was no odor from the packaging that lingered. The mattress is thick, with all the inside material and supports enclosed using a high quality zipper. The look and feel of this model just screams premium, which is impressive at the price, especially considering this is the Classic model and not one of the higher tier models. Both my girlfriend and I are bigger people, so we need all the support we can get, and this has support in spades. The mattress looks just as good as it did the moment we got it, with no visible sinking. Quality of sleep: Where do I begin? To keep things short: that constant waking up throughout the day? It's gone. Now when I go to sleep for work, I'm able to stay asleep until the moment my alarm begins to blare. The first day, I was late to work because I spent a good while just being in awe that I was able to get uninterrupted sleep. Quality of life: The back pain? Also seriously reduced, I'm not going to pretend like this suddenly solved all my back pain, gave me a raise at work, and made me a couple inches taller, but what I will say is that I'm no longer waking up feeling sore and having to call out of work because of some debilitating pain that I likely got from sleeping unsupported. Conclusion: Genuinely, for the amount of money I spent, I do not think I could have found a better mattress. About every aspect of my sleep life has been improved, and all for a relatively affordable price. Seriously, if you're considering getting this, do. And if you're still unsure, still do it anyways. DreamCloud is well known for their customer service, and that 365 night trial is unmatched.

I’ve been researching mattresses for months, and finally decided this was the one for me. I had a Sleep Number mattress, and planned to just get another, but I wanted a firmer mattress than what I had, and this one kept coming up in my research. We’ve had it for almost a month, and I can’t express how amazing it is to wake up without any back pain. I wanted a firm mattress, but all they had was medium/firm, and I’m so glad they did, because this is amazing. It’s plenty firm enough, yet so comfortable. I wholeheartedly recommend this mattress. From all my research, I can see why so many people love it. I waited 72 hours before sleeping in it, just because I wanted to be sure it was ready, and it was!

I have a blown disc at S1 and L5 so I need a mattress that keeps my sine strait. I need a firm mattress that provides good support but enough padding so that it doesn't feel hard either and this mattress hits the mark. I've only slept on it for 2 nights but I slept very well. It is a very soft, comfy mattress, the best I have had to date and I'm 66. I can't say enough about it. Just buy one and see for yourself. You can always return it if you don't like it.

I wanted to wait a few weeks after sleeping on this mattress so that I could write an honest review. This mattress is exactly as advertised by the manufacturer. I prefer a firm or extra firm mattress but decided to give this mattress a try. This is advertised as a medium firm mattress which is correct. The firmness has actually gotten better after a few weeks of expansion. This is advertised as good for side sleepers, which I am, and I am able to sleep very comfortable. The pillow top is soft and comfortable. I do not like the "molded" feeling of a traditional memory foam mattress and had some concern. However, the memory foam does not make you feel like you are sinking into the mattress. I would have rated this at 5 stars because of the honest advertising of this mattress but didn't because the edge of the mattress is not very firm at all. When I sit on the edge of the mattress I sink between 5 - 7 inches but since I do not sleep on the edge of the mattress it does not affect my sleep. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and would buy again.

I am incredibly disappointed with this mattress. After unboxing it, the mattress failed to fully expand, leaving the entire bed uneven and structurally flawed. The internal coils in the center sink completely to the base under pressure, while other sections remain inflated. Worst of all, the perimeter coils on the sides never expanded properly. Because of this, the entire sleep surface slopes, causing you to constantly tilt to one side throughout the night. It has severely aggravated my back and neck pain due to the total lack of spinal support. The edge support is completely nonexistent. Whenever you try to sit on the side of the mattress to get out of bed, the edge immediately collapses, and you just slide right off. You cannot comfortably sleep near the sides without feeling like you are sloping downward. A mattress is supposed to offer rest and support, but this one has caused nothing but physical pain and frustration. I have already filed a warranty claim and would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you need a reliable, supportive bed.

I purchased the DreamCloud 12” Classic King Mattress to go with an Article bed frame, and sizing-wise everything fit perfectly with no issues. The mattress thickness also feels good and looks substantial on the bed. The mattress is comfortable when laying in the middle, which is why I didn’t go lower on the rating. Sleep comfort overall is decent. However, the reason I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is because the edge support is surprisingly poor for a mattress in this price range. Anytime you sit near the edge of the bed, the sides completely collapse with very little support. It makes the mattress feel cheaper than expected and takes away from the overall quality impression. I noticed several other reviews mentioning the same issue, and now I understand exactly what they were talking about. For the money, I expected much better perimeter support. Honestly, you can probably buy a less expensive mattress locally and get firmer edges. If DreamCloud improved the edge support, this would be a much stronger product overall.
