What's the difference between classAcustoms TPO roofing and 2 ply EPDM Rubber Roof? Here's some major benefits to switching over to TPO roofing. ITEM SHIPS folded in a box - it is recommend that you remove it from the box as soon as you receive it. Lay it flat and allow it to "relax" for several hours before installing, this will allow the temporary creases that may have been caused by folding to come out as the item "rests". Lightweight - get better gas mileage (.165lbs/sq ft. compared to 2 ply EPDM at .29 lbs/sq ft.) Does not chalk (won't turn side of unit gray) Stronger - won't puncture as easily like 2 ply EPDM Can be easily repaired Stretches easier so you can get a perfect tight fit Better traction with a non-skid surface Color is same throughout substrate Will not shrink or crack (100% solids sealant) .028 Thick

Before and after pictures. The rubber roof material: we had extra material which was nice. We are keeping the extra we cut off for patches (if needed). We had more then enough glue for the roof. The only thing I was disappointed in was the 4 rolls of seal tape was stuck together. We had to used a different seal tape. ... show more

    • Good Re-Roofing Starter Kit
It was alot of work to put a new roof on my trailer, but this is a drastically better solution than trying to roll on a rubber coating. I had to tear out some of the old OSB roof sheeting and staple in new due to old water damage. (Another reason to go with a full new membrane.) Make sure you roll the glue out this(ish) and conserve in order to make it last the whole job. My trailer had about 25.5 feet of roof. Had it been longer I would have run out of glue. Be cautious on prep so you don't get and debris under the membrane as you're gluing it down. A couple tubes of the caulk were ruined in the box and Class A replaced them quickly. Material is very sturdy to appears. It should withstand some abuse. Word of wisdom, unpack it right away and lay it out to get he wrinkles out, best you can. Mine laid out in our dinning room for a week with direct sunlight before we rolled it up. Still had some wrinkles when we put it down. Make sure you let the glue tack up before rolling it out, I suggest four feet at a time, with help. I didn't allow mine to tack up enough in the areas where I had to replace some sheeting so a couple bubbles formed. Time will tell if this works better than the rubber roof that I took off but I think with proper care it should. Overall happy with the results. ... show more

Had to replace the roof on our toy hauler and ordered this kit. Well worth the money since I was quoted up to $8,000.00 to replace our roof. It was a good weekend project from removing the old roofing material and installing the new material. Highly recommend this product. The only down fall was the roofing material came folded up in a box so we had to carefully unfold it so we could roll it up to make the installation go easier. Also recommend on being prepared to purchase extra lap sealant. What came in the kit wasn't enough. ... show more

    • Misleading/missing instructions
This product should not have been folded! I unpackaged rolled and stored the material in a warm garage for several days. It was then laid flat on my RV in direct sun @90+ temp for several hours while fitting. The creases NEVER went away. The adhesive only states a mil thickness above 50 degrees. In direct sun @ 90+ the adhesive set almost instantly making positioning and rolling out bubbles impossible. The butyl tape was improperly packaged and was smashed in shipping. The only product that performed well was the silicon caulking. ... show more
