It doesn't say it is either left nor right hand thread in the description. The photo looks like it is left hand and there are reviews that say it is left hand thread. I received a right hand thread bolt. Right size and thread type just not in the correct direction. Need left hand thread (counter-clockwise), not right hand (clockwise). ... show more

I recently picked up a Dewalt DWS779 saw and the first thing I did was change the blade. However, the arbor bolt was torqued down so tight from factory, and the metal so soft, that it was partially stripped brand new out of the box. It utilized a similar design, but instead of a head that could take a wrench or socket, it was round and required an allen key. Since it was partially stripped from the factory, I did not have much luck using an allen key and had to resort to some vice grips. I knew there was no way I was putting that arbor bolt back so I ordered this one. It arrived quickly and did the job well. Now I can use an actual wrench to get the bolt off in the future to swap blades. I don't know why this design isn't standard. Maybe it is on the newer DWS780, but this arbor bolt did the trick. ... show more

Wow! What can I say about this screw that's never been said before? Um, well, we can start with the color: Black. The richness in color of the black screw made me want to enshrine it in a viewing box, not use it. I know that more of these have been produced, but when you know, you know. This screw is one that I wanted to gaze upon with love and adornment all of the days of my life. I could have taken a second job to purchase another, but there's so much paperwork involved with that! Alas, despite my primal urges to simply enshrine this, I installed it on my Miter Saw. It holds the blade in place, as promised. ... show more

Fit my Dewalt Miter saw perfectly. I was unable to find the model number as my saw is older and well used. I compared the pictures to my screw and decided to try it. The screw fits perfect and now I don’t have to deal with a stripped out screw.

Needed a m8 x 1.25 x 20mm reverse thread bolt for my Milwaukee miter saw. This was more easily available than the part from Milwaukee. Works perfect.
