It is relatively easy to assemble. The build quality seems good, but the stability doesn't feel as great when the desk is at its maximum height; I guess this is one of the trade offs for such an inexpensive frame. I installed an IKEA tabletop which worked, but I had to drill some screws in even though the desk had pre-drilled holes because they didn't align specifically with this frame. However, that's an IKEA thing so not necessarily this product's fault, so I am pretty sure that any other type of tabletop will also work just fine. Only thing I don't like that much is the cabling for the motor itself. I wish it was a bit longer so I could cable manage it with the rest of my cables, but other than that this is an amazing frame for its price. ... show more

Update: The manufacturer got back to me and I was able to get the desk working correctly. Customer service was fantastic! Original: The setup was pretty straightforward and it moved just fine when initially put together. But after I put the top on, only the left leg moves. I reached out to the manufacturer to see what troubleshooting options there are but I haven’t heard back yet. ... show more

The instructions were clear and straightforward, with all parts clearly labeled and organized. I had the entire frame put together in under 30 minutes without any head-scratching moments or extra trips to the hardware store. As is typical in this shady world, this is falsely advertised. 154 pound capacity is listed. Check out the image from the instructions. 110 pounds should not be exceeded for optimal user experience and daily use of the desk. Am I supposed to disassemble it every other day? Every third day? Prop it up to give it some rest on the even days of the month. Does it has edema? Optimal user experience is not defined. Perhaps they mean you dont get crushed by a collapsing desk as long as you stay under 110 pounds. THIS IS NOT AS STRONG AS YOU WILL BE LED TO BELIEVE IN THE ONLINE LISTING. This world really is full of greedy scammers. It's a shame most people will get suckered- trying to make sure you're not one of them ... show more
