I got this embroidery stitch kit for my 10 year old daughter, so she can learn how to stitch at her own pace, with her own thread and fabric. She loved it and couldn't wait to give it a try. We were so eager to get it going for her, that we completely missed the embroidery hoop and a bag with scissors, pen, seam ripper, pin cushion and needles, and even a small piece of trim lace. Those were left in the box, and I gave her a larger hoop and a needle, and she was on her way to stitching! I thought, how could they not have included the needles? Silly me, it was all still in the box, and once we put smaller hoop, and included needle threader, things got a lot easier for my daughter. The videos that accompany this kit can be found on YouTube, just search for Cizulfy Studio and you can check out all that's shown as stitching lessons for this kit, so you can get better idea if this kit is worth it for your needs. The videos are well made, and sped up a bit, so when learning more complicated stitch, it might be necessary to view it at half the speed. There are no vocals, just music, but some explanatory text does show up. Either way, it seems pretty clear, because spoken explanations are unnecessary, what's important is to clearly see how to stitch, and the videos do a good job. I would recommend this embroidery stitch kit to anyone who wants to learn embroidery. It will be great for a beginner, but also to someone with experience who wants to learn new stitches. The only thing that could be improved is the print on canvas. Some pages or areas of pages are printed very clearly, but on some the ink is fairly faint, however still sufficiently visible not to cause problems when stitching. Overall, it's a great little kit with everything you need included, and video lessons to go along.

This is a nice stitch kit. It has everything you need to create a nice book. Definitely beginner friendly. The video tutorials are super helpful. The quality of the stitch book is a little weird and doesn't look like the pictures to me. It has a bunch of loose threads on the ends. Other than that, it's not bad.

This is such a nice, and very complete set for anyone who wants to learn embroidery, or refresh their embroidery skills. I used to embroider a lot, but haven’t done it in years. This kit is definitely going to get me back into this craft. I am so impressed. They thought of everything! They included embroidery floss in various colors, stamped fabric projects that you can complete and assemble into a book, a plastic hoop, a user manual / instruction book, needles, seam ripper, tiny hole puncher, and even a pin cushion. They seriously included everything you could possibly need. Let’s talk about the book. If they assembled the book first, you wouldn’t be able to put the hoop on the pages and embroider them, After you complete all of the embroidery pages, you lay them together as directed in the instruction booklet, and sew a seam up the spine. Now it’s a book you can refer to and be proud of your accomplishment. Some of the printing is a little faint. That is not a bug; it’s a feature. They did this so the blue ink will not show through your work. They even put QR codes on each instruction page so you can go to YouTube and watch lessons on how to complete all of the different stitches and knots. I don’t know what more they could have done to help a person learn embroidery. I think this kit has been very well thought out, and executed. The price is very low considering what the cost would be if you bought all of these items individually. This would make a lovely gift, by the way..

The kids are interested in learning to do embroidery and when I saw the listing for this kit I thought it looked like a good option for them so I ordered it. I like that this kit comes with a decent number of pages with pre printed patterns to teach stitching. I also love that the instruction book includes QR codes that link to videos that actually show the stitches being created by hand. In my opinion that makes it much easier to fully understand how to do it when you can actually see the stitch being made. This set comes with everything else needed to get started including needles and tools, a small embroidery hoop, and an assortment of wonderfully colored thread. Overall I consider this to be a pretty good kit and I think it's a fair value as well. I think it would make a nice gift for someone interested in getting into crafting.

I received five pieces of pre-printed fabric, one piece of fabric for backing the cover, a bag of embroidery floss, a hoop, needles, a needle threader, a stitch ripper, a pin cushion, lace, a black felt wallet, and a small pair of scissors. There is an instruction booklet with QR codes for video tutorials and support. The floss colors are vibrant. The prints on the fabric are printed clearly in black. The instructions are easy to follow. This is definitely something I would have had fun receiving when I was a child. As an adult who purchased this because I enjoy embroidery and like making stitch books. The practice in the simple kits help me retain my skills. This is a quality kit that is self-contained. Even the shipping box acts as a storage/travel box while you are working on the kit. You will have left-over floss. I recommend keeping it for other projects. Overall, this is a lovely kit for anyone who enjoys handwork.
