I love watches! I have always had a fondness for them, a real appreciation. I also know a great timepiece when I see it, and this one is no different. However, I have found the art of wearing a watch is lost on most of this younger generation. Gone are the days of wearing a watch daily or even coordinating one with an outfit. Instead young people today rely on their cell phones or their computers to keep up with time. So, I guess I am an old relic, with tons of watches in all styles and price ranges. So, when I saw this timepiece (the Citizen Eco-Drive), I had to have it. It is a real beauty, yet really simple in its design. I would describe it as sleek yet elegant. The bracelet band is gold and very lightweight (I expected it to be heavier). The links can be removed easily by a jeweler. The face is black and accented with gold hands that denote the hour, minutes and seconds. There is a window for that shows the date. The bezel is gold but accented with tiny clear stones. And finally, what I really like about this watch is that it is powered by light, not a battery. According to the packaging, you will never have to change the battery. That will save you money. This watch is lovely. Has a beautiful black face and easy to see dial. I am not particularly well educated on watches so I don't have a lot of professional things to say other than it keeps time. It is a little weird that you have to look online for setting instructions and it didn't just come with printed instructions. But it was easy enough to set. The band is also bit on the larger side, so it will probably need to be sized down for most women's wrists. It is absolutely beautiful though. I also like that it is dressy enough to wear it to something a little bit formal but not so flashy that you can't wear it casually. I recommend this watch. ... show more
