I used to be a devoted TAG Heuer fan until the quality of their high-end watches started to slip. Citizen is a far better value. I bought this watch a few years ago, and I absolutely love the way it looks and feels. I took it diving and had no issues whatsoever. The watch is solar powered, so it never needs a battery and there is no maintenance required as with a self-winding automatic. I was skeptical about the scratch resistance of mineral glass, as I always preferred sapphire crystal in the past. However, after almost three years of daily wear, there isn't a single scratch on the glass. This is a superior watch to many of the high end dive watches on the market that command premium prices. This watch is even better in person. A classy watch that I’ve taken from hoodie & jeans to a suit for a speaking event. The lightweight titanium band makes me forget I have it on, while slim enough it doesn’t get knocked around. The packaging was stellar! The Citizen box had a little wear & tear as most would, but opened it up to the air tank which was tucked into a protective foam molded insert. Plastic wrap was covering both exterior and interior of the titanium band and clasp. This is how a nice timepiece is packaged. Easy to adjust the time and the sliding tachometer bevel is smooth clicks to each mark, much like a high-end scope. The overall design and presentation of this watch is superb with a perceived value much higher than its price point. Beautiful, classic addition to my collection and daily wear. Well done Citizen. I've got about 100 watches collected since 1970. The vast majority are tactical/tool/divers. The quality, fit, finish and general presentation are really excellent. Everything lines up perfectly as it should and the seconds hand clicks from marker to marker perfectly. After several days, this eco-drive set to the NIST clock is spot on to the second, as I would expect it to be. The Super Titanium bracelet is a beautiful piece of work. Once you adjust it (pin and collar) there are three micro-adjustment holes in the clasp. After adjustment, the watch and bracelet weighs about 100g ... VERY lightweight. The lume on this watch is as good as the lume on my $1200 Seikos, the SPB143 62MAS and my SPB051 65MAS. It glows very brightly and remain visible about 6 hours. I'm a Diver since 1970 and a Dive Master since 1988. People should know that WR ratings are totally meaningless UNLESS the manufacturer chooses to adopt the internationally recognized ISO standard for dive watches. ALL Seiko and Citizen watches conform to ISO 6425. This is a very nice watch. ... show more

Beautiful and unique case, looks exactly as it was pictured! Excellent workmanship, the watch really keeps time and doesn't need winding. Case is made of titanium which is extremely light as compared to the usual stainless steel. You can't go wrong with this 1!

These are great watches. This is the 3rd one Ive bought! I'm a diver, fisherman & boater and put a lot of wear & tear on a watch. I beat them up and typically replace them every 7 years. They still work its just that the band, bezel & cyrstal get really scratched up. And the screwdown crown needs to be replaced. Rather than spend $175 for all that service, I just buy a brandnew one. This watch keeps perfect timing. Never misses a second with the Eco Drive! Only time I have to adjust is the time change twice @ year. It fits perfect and is the right size for a man's wrist. The deep blue face is cool too. Ive had it to 145' scuba diving with no issues. The only grip is the date view is very small. I would buy this watach again. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Looks good. I don’t like the weight, but it’s titanium so that was to be expected. Was just a little shocked at how lightweight it is, almost felt like plastic. The value isn’t great. I swam with it on and it did fine.

As a watch guy, I am impressed with this daily driver. I think of it as a daily stunt-double for my expensive, Tudor Pelagos dive watch (which costs over 10x more). I prefer the look, feel, and weight of titanium. The lightweight nature and relatively thin presence is ideal as a daily; I even sleep in this watch. The movement is accurate. The look of this watch is clean. The lume is bright. The watch can be dressed up or dressed down… from yardwork to the boardroom. Mine has yet to scratch, although I did add a film cover to the crystal. The Eco-Drive solar charging is incredible technology. 200m of water resistance is comparable (or better) than others, such as Seiko (which I also love). What else can I say. This Citizen Promaster diver in super titanium is a Go Anywhere Do Anything (GADA) watch. ... show more
