  • One in three was good?
The timpani mallets are borderline marching bass mallets, not at all like timpani mallets. Very large and hard. The bell mallets are okay, I guess. They feel cheap, but they get the job done. Surprisingly they feel almost too soft. (I know, weird) The marimba mallets are good, though. I use them on marimba and suspended cymbal and am happy with those results. Really, not worth it to me. ... show more

the marimba and glock mallets are fine. visibly on the cheaper end, but passable enough for a non-professional. the “timpani” mallets are borderline useless, though. more akin to bass drum mallets, and even thats questionable.
