This guy made our Christmas tree stand firm! Once we got it into the stand, the tree didn’t move once, so threat of it falling. It’s a heavy duty plastic, and weighs enough. It’s pretty easy to put the tree into, (and kind of fun stabbing it down into the middle). My parents had one like this growing up, and I couldn’t in good conscience get anything else. Pretty sturdy stand that accommodates even fairly small, off centered trees. Even if you need a wider platform, the stand does have holes to screw down to a piece of plywood or whatever you’d like. Holds plenty of water as well.

This tree stand is very sturdy. We did not cut the tree like it had suggested,we just put the tree in the middle,tighten the screws,added water. This is an excellent stand and for the price which is great. I had an older stand that was used years ago,which I got rid of thinking that I wouldn't need it,so I had to purchase a new one. I bought this while I was away from home for an extended time through Christmas. I still wanted a tree up so I figured since the price was pretty reasonable, I'd use it and then leave it in the corporate apt since I had a tree stand at home. Well I ended up shipping it back home and getting rid of my old one! This is so simple to use, and easily held an 8 ft tree perfectly straight. There are sharp spikes in the bottom to hold the trunk centered while you pull the tabs on each of the 3 bolts and slide them firmly up against the sides of the trunk. Done! No screwing each one down while trying to hold the tree steady. Really just a great design! ... show more

Came opened in the amazon box and was filthy, like it sat outside or in a dirty warehouse for a year! I had to wash it down before using. And, with only 3 prongs to hold tree, it wasn't quite as sturdy as I'd hoped. Keeping it because I just got my tree but would certainly opt for a different model in the future. ... show more

I've had some battles with tree stands over the last few years, and this one was amazing! Easily adjusted clamps to hold the tree. And the base is deep enough that the water won't spill over or come out of the sides. This will be perfect for many years to come!
