Let’s all take a deep breath and simmer down now. I love this watch for its streamlined numberless face (that is still very easy to read) and it’s leather band that has a very subtle green tint to it (from a distance appears black). It looks designer to me, and much more expensive than the asking price. The rectangular face reminds me of ‘the Tank’ which is an all time classic timepiece. This is not oversized, it is a standard men’s size face. So all that alone is great! And oh yeah….it keeps time perfectly! The only thing I would note: I have a smaller to average size wrist and this fits middle hole on the band on me. This would likely be too small for a very large wrist. I got this watch for my husband as a gift, and it surprised me in many ways. The first thing I noticed was the packaging; it came nicely boxed and felt completely ready to be given as a gift, which I loved. I didn’t have to add anything extra or worry about presentation. The watch itself has a clean, modern look. The rectangular face makes it stand out from the typical round watches he already owns, and the simple black design works well with both casual outfits and more dressed up looks. The leather strap feels soft and comfortable, not stiff or cheap, and it fit him well right out of the box. He mentioned that it’s lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day. That said a lot because he’s pretty picky about accessories. It feels like a thoughtful, stylish gift rather than something flashy. This is a nice watch for men or women. It’s stylish and attractive. I do have a couple of issues with it, though: the dial itself is small, and the hands are black so they don’t show up very well against the dark blue dial. I have to look carefully at the watch to tell the time. Light-colored hands would work better. ... show more

i have been looking at this brand of watch since i have been wanting to buy a rectangular watch for my collection. Positives: - good build - nice band - nice pattern/texture on the dial Negatives: - the only negative is that the watch is a little hard to read. Having black hands on a dark blue dial makes the hands not stand out. This, plus it being a smaller size, makes it a little difficult to tell what time it is. It’s not impossible, especially in bright light, but in low light, and with no lume, forget about it. Overall i really like the watch homage to the E/N brand, the design is very stylish and fresh. I would like to see it have a little more contrast with the hands, even white hands would make a world of difference. That being said, I would still recommend it. ... show more

I collect watches but I am not a snob about it. I own a number of inexpensive but nice watches in addition to ones that cost a lot more. I was attracted to the design of this Ciloa watch so ordered it. But there are some odd things about it. First of all, it showed up in box that clearly does not match the watch. Notice the empty space above the watch band. What is missing there? Probably nothing. But one would expect that if a manufacturer was going to go to the effort of packaging a product in a nice box, they would use one that actually matched the product! Also notice the little -- and I do mean little -- instruction booklet. It contains instructions for other watches (that are circular in shape) but NOT the rectangular one I bought. That renders the instructions useless. They are not relevant to the watch I got. I haven't owned the Ciloa watch long enough to be able to evaluate its accuracy in keeping time or its durability. It has a nice appearance but -- as a matter of personal taste -- it seems to me the hands on this watch are so slender it can be difficult to read at times, depending on the lighting conditions. I prefer to be able to glance at a watch and be able to immediately know what time it is. I have good eyesight but I found myself having to reposition my wrist several times to be able to have the light hit the watch face just right for me to be able to see the position of the hands. The wrist band is leather, comfortable and a good length. This is certainly an attract timepiece (the box says it comes from Paris) and I could recommend it. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the mismatched box with the watch, and the useless instructions. ... show more

I am really impressed with this CILOA watch because it has such an elegant and eye-catching classic design. It looks like a high end luxury piece and honestly pairs well with almost every outfit I own whether I am dressing up for a meeting or just going out for a casual dinner. The rectangle shape gives it a unique edge that stands out from the usual round watches and it is just the right size to be noticed without feeling bulky or over the top on my wrist. The leather strap is another highlight for me because it is incredibly comfortable for all day wear. I have pretty sensitive skin but the way this strap is designed means it is much less likely to trigger my allergies which is a huge relief. It feels like a high quality and durable accessory that was actually made with the wearer in mind.
