The media could not be loaded. This review is for the CM-S04, which is similar to the CM-S03 but has an additional emitter and more accessories. Like the CM-S03, this laser level has an outstanding out-of-the-box experience. The hard-plastic case is pre-arranged to fit all the accessories. It has everything you need to be instantly productive and is very high-quality for the price. The CM-S04 is an enhanced version of the CM-S03 and supports 4 additional lines through 1 added emitter on the bottom of the tool. Beyond that, the enhancements are just more accessories and a higher-quality plastic case. The built-in digital level shown on a bright and easy-to-read 2.4" LCD display adds a dimension of quality that really adds to the experience, allowing you to be as precise-to-the-decimal as you prefer. The green laser gimble has a lock that also functions as a power switch. You can, however, turn the laser on with the gimble locked by pressing the power button, and when you do this, the laser will periodically flash to remind you you're not in an auto-leveling mode. The auto leveling range is ±3–4° before the laser beam flashes to let you know you're out-of-level. The CM-S04 can project 16 lines compared with the 12 from the CM-S03. The power button adjusts the brightness of the beam from 100%, 75%, 40%, 25%, Strobe. The H/V controls turn horizontal and/or vertical beams on or off, allowing you to select single lines, single crosses, etc... Lots of options here! The kit comes complete with a hard plastic molded case, 2 batteries, a wireless remote control (with 30 meter range), Bluetooth app support (with ~50 meter range), a height-adjustable magnetic wall mount, a crappy lanyard that likes to break, a metal scissor stand, a USB charging cable and a green plastic target plate. I believe the only "problem" I had with this kit was the small coiled lanyard that can attach to the laser level - the end that connects to the level can easily pull out of the lanyard and can't reliably be used as a safety rope for the tool - unless you modify it first. I tested this lanyard the same as I did for the CM-S03, and the string also easily pulled out of the lanyard. Just like I had to do for the CM-S03, I made the knot on the end of the string larger and added a drop of heavy-duty superglue to the knot, re-built the lanyard and it's super tight and secure now. Beyond that, my only concern about useful life of this product is related to the BL-01 2600mAh batteries that I can't find replacements for, not even on Cigman's website. I have asked Cigman for support on this, but I'd hate to think this great tool basically becomes trash when the Li-Ion batteries finally reach end-of-life with no replacement options, even with the 5-year warranty. That is concerning enough that I considered docking 1 star off my review, but didn't. The value here is fantastic. Featuring bright lasers, Bluetooth app control and 2 rechargeable batteries, a digital level, scissor lift, adjustable tripod mount, a carrying case and a remote control, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better value for the quality of this instrument. Yes, I recommend this product. For $200, it's a worthy alternative to the CM-S03 given the upgraded tool with 4 additional lines and the additional accessories.

This is probably the best laser level I've ever used. It comes in a very nice "Pelican style" case, with cutouts for every piece, and everything is held securely. The laser works beautifully, and I love that you can use it with an app (not my favorite method, but works fine), with the included remote control (my favorite method, as it's convenient), or simply by pressing the buttons on the level itself. It has 2 USB C rechargeable batteries, so professionals will find it works very well on the jobsite, with enough power for any workday as you can be using one while charging the other. Also, you can use the laser level while it's plugged in, so even if both batteries are completely dead, you can still power it up and use it. Very nice. It has both manual mode so you can do angled lines, as well as pulse mode so it works fine with laser detectors in brighter or longer distance conditions. I have a Firecore laser detector, and it worked just fine with it. I love the display screen, as it makes it really simple to figure out what's going on, and you can even adjust the brightness of the laser, which is a rare feature. It makes it easier to see when it's bright in the room, and in darker spaces you can throttle it back to reduce the dazzle (and conserve battery life). I've used quite a few different laser levels, and they aren't all ready for professional OR homeowner use, but this one is. Whether you need a laser for the jobsite, or hanging pictures at home, this is one of the best laser levels I've used. Highly recommended, 5 stars.

This laser level is extremely easy to operate and adjust. The production of light and accuracy is tremendous. You can use it in any light and have the ability to see the laser display. I would recommend using protective eyewear as it is an extremely bright light. I especially like that while using the light it will automatically sense and notify me if it’s not level. The included case is terrific for storing and protecting the components. It also comes with two batteries. This is functional for professional or home use. I highly recommend this laser level.

This laser level delivers bright, visible green lines with impressive accuracy. The self-leveling feature works quickly and precisely, and the Bluetooth app control makes it easy to switch modes or adjust brightness remotely. Build quality feels solid, and the hard case keeps everything neatly organized. The only minor issue is that the included stand doesn’t extend very high, so extra support is sometimes needed for outdoor work. Overall, a dependable, high-quality tool for precise layout and alignment tasks.

We got it for my hubby to use for his remodeling work. He had expressed interest in getting one, so I thought it was a good one to get because of its package and features. Turns out I was right. Here's what he said about it after checking it out: The is one impressive setup! Nice hard case with fitted foam insert. All the accessories you will ever need. I remodel homes and this tool is invaluable for marking layouts for recessed lighting and many other things. Much better than snapping a chalk line. Plenty bright to see even in bright sunlight. I would highly recommend picking up this kit.
