This earring is gorgeous! I got the 8mm in clear for my daith piercing and it's exactly what I was looking for. It's so pretty yet simple. The previous one I had in had too large of jewels that it made the earring turn and the jewels were centered nicely for display. This one on the other hand doesn't have that problem. It stays put, and looks simple yet elegant. Aside from the looks, it's also easy to open and close. It's not "too" easy... not like it'll accidentally open and fall out, but it opens nicely to where it won't irritate and hurt your ear if you were wanting to remove it. Not very difficult to put in (this was my first septum ring change) and I think it's very cute and easy to wear everyday. It's not gaudy or flashy, just enough shimmer to give a nice effect. Looks a lot better in the sun. It's opal plated on the front, not all the way around. I wish it was all the way around but it's fine anyway. I've been wearing it for at least two weeks and I've had no issues (I'm very sensitive to a lot of metal). Would buy again. Also I wouldn't recommend going smaller than an 8mm size. I have a really small nose and this was a perfect fit. Any smaller would've been problematic!

I bought two of these, one for each of my diath piercings. I've had them in for a few weeks, but today I noticed a weird feeling in my ear. When I touched it with my finger, I felt something hard and pulled out a piece of the stone that had broken off! While trying to remove the earring, another piece fell off. Now I'm worried I have shards of debris from this earring in my piercing. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!

I love this one! I wear it in my daith piercing. Its pretty dainty looking in my ear (I got the 8mm hoop size) I think aesthetic wise I like hoops just a tad bigger in general (10mm) but I'm glad I at least have one smaller hoop to wear for variety. Unlike the wider/bigger hoops this one doesn't flop as much when moving, so if you don't like that feeling the smaller circumference hoops are definitely for you. It also doesn't get in the way of my ear buds as much as the bigger hoops do. It's very smooth all the way around. I hate hoops that end up having a burr or something that sticks out more than the rest of the surface and you can feel it when it slides. If its not comfortable I won't wear it.

First off, this product looks nothing like the picture. There were no stones at all. It's cut in a way to imitate what is supposed to look like stones. Second, the arm was very loose and made it really difficult to put in. It kept just flopping up and down. And Finally, when I finally got it in it was backwards so I tried to unclasp it to turn it around. IT WOULD NOT UNCLASP. I kept trying to pull it apart and he wouldn't budge. And where the "stones" were was very rough and it kept rubbing inside the hole so my ear was super sore and irritated. It even started bleeding. I had to get a magnified mirror for help and thank GOD it finally came apart. My ear is so sore today. DO NOT BUY this product.

I’m not entirely sure what I expected. The ring looks like the picture, the hinge works ok, the gauge is fine. I haven’t had had allergic reactions to the materials. If stars were awarded like a bell curve, I’d give it an average, a 3, it is what it says it is. Given that, the fact that I was disappointed that the green wasn’t quite as bright, not quite as obvious and reflective as the picture may be due to the fact that I can’t see worth a damn. The picture shows what it looks like when you try quite hard to capture the opalescence. As always, the color of the metal is never quite as bright and silvery as the photo.
