Solid metal screw together pole pieces, good ball bearing swivels, flag is very thin! I’d suggest you order a heavier weight flag as this one won’t last long in the weather out in the open.

I live in a high wind area and these poles have been able to withstand 30-60 mile an hour winds! I also purchased heavy duty flags separately and they haven’t twisted around the poles whatsoever. Super easy to install as well! Thx! Very pleased!

We have had multiple outdoor flags over the years. This is the only flag that actually stays unfurled in the wind. The hardware is metal instead of plastic. We are very pleased.

This is a well made and good looking flag pole. The fit and finish of the entire set is very nice, with the exception of the anti-tangle rings, which are made of a very soft plastic. On one of the rings, one of the mounting holes came stripped, requiring me to enlarge and retap it. Even still, I suspect these to be the weakest link as time goes on. If these rings were metal, this flag set would easily be one of the best that I have owned and a solid 5 stars.
