    • Great show with lots of heart, high quality packaging
We started watching this on Prime Video over the summer, and we ended up working our way through the entire series over a couple of months. It’s a surprisingly wholesome show with a lot of heart. I found myself personally invested in each of the characters’ storylines throughout. Yes, the show can be a little campy at times, but it’s always done with a wink and a nod. Despite budget constraints in later seasons, I’m glad that they were able to finish it out and complete the story on their own terms. As far as the box set itself is concerned, I love that the DVDs each come in their own slipcase. A lot of “complete series” sets these days are barebones clamshells with discs stacked on top of discs, but not so with Chuck! The box set displays well, and it actually protects the contents. Chuck was/is an amazing show. If you have never seen an episode, then I will warn you, be prepared to spend a lot of time in fron of your tv. Its so addicting. The characters are all so charasmatic, they are all so likeable, they are all so important to this show. The show is filled with action, adventure, humor, pop culture refrences, romance, and heart. There is so much heart. It's a feel good, enjoyable, entertaining must have for tv fans. Seriously, we were for raving fan base for one reason. This show was too good for people to not be watching. It's sad, that people tuned in for Dancing with the stars when this was just a click away. If you are wondering why fans are giving this completer series a 1 star rating its the PACKAGING - NOT THE SHOW. Warner Brothers initially was charging 239 for the complete series while giving the fans NOTHING extra. It was cheaper to buy the individual seasons. The current 130 price on amazon is a good price. If you are seriously considering buying this, I highly suggest you do. You'll have a smile on your face after watching, and everything in the world will right itself! ... show more

    • An Incredible Series
I recently rediscovered the series "Chuck" through Youtube clips. Having this DVD set allows me to view the series in its entirety and put everything in context. The series is amazing and puts to shame other tv series to date. I found characteristics from the main characters the resonated with me. Additionally, supporting characters are incredibly well developed. Locations and the music used throughout were carefully chosen. I discovered several new musical artists that I have never heard before. Overall this series and the DVD set are a gem one rarely discovers. I truly wish it were possible to give it more than 5 stars as this product fully deserves them. ... show more

    • My favorite TV show of all time!
I can't say enough about Chuck, it pushes all my buttons. The characters are fantastic; it's got a great mix of sci-fi, action/espionage and drama, with great music, a wonderful romance with plenty of ups & downs, and lots of quirky humor. It really is brilliant, and I'm not sure if we'll ever see another TV show like it. Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski are INCREDIBLE; their characters and chemistry are so good, you can't help but fall in love with them. There have been plenty of other TV series I've enjoyed, but none have ever made me both laugh out loud and cry (quite literally) like this one. This is one of the very few TV shows that I can literally watch over and over and never get tired of. ... show more

I love this series! Charming, quirky, endearing and fun, with some decent tech and action thrown in. The story is clever and, for the most part, stays interesting. Enjoyable acting, as well. I thoroughly enjoyed Zachary Levi as Chuck, and co-stars Yvonne Strahovski and Adam Baldwin, as well as most of the other supporting actors. I especially enjoyed guest starts Matthew Bomer and Scott Bakula in their roles. I tolerate the "goofy side kick" best friend, but he can get annoying. There are a few wrong turns and contrived conflicts; I didn't care for the season 4 finale, nor any of season 5, when the side kick becomes super annoying and the relationship goes off the tracks. But otherwise, this is one of my favorite series for the sheer joy. ... show more
