Good length, great waist. It lost a star because it lacks a back-left pocket. Most lefties (and some others) put their wallet in their back left pocket and it’s criminal not to have both options. This feels just about cost-cutting.

Great shorts! Plenty of stretch. Imma short and stout fella (5’8” 300lbs with a long torso — short legs) and I highly recommend these shorts if you’re having a hard time as a bigger fella finding shorts to fit in. Great quality.

I carefully measured my waist (37"!) and the provided size chart said that I should order size XL. When I received the shorts I found that my waist is the minimum size for the shorts rather than the maximum size and the shorts fit very loose. They would have fit much better if I ordered a size smaller. I could not wear these shorts without a belt (which I wear anyway). Normally I buy Chino shorts from Land's End, but they stopped selling shorts with a 6" inseam. The Land's End 35" or 36" shorts fit me perfectly.     • Good shorts, unnecessarily expensive.
The semi elastic waistband is nice but not a ton of stretch in the material itself. Good looking and fitting shorts. The price is crazy high for shorts, I would buy some cheap 20 dollar shorts instead.
