This battery is an exact fit for my 2009 yamaha vstar 650 Silverado. It came new and undamaged and fully charged as advertised. Powerful and easy to install. Fit is exact for aforementioned make and model. Why spend more ? It easily cranks the bike. I had the same understandable concerns that others would have. I had never mail ordered a battery before. I have always bought them in person before. I thought " will they sit it on concrete somewhere in the shipping process? " and " will it be cracked when I get it?" and " will it really be fully charged ?" I know these are the same questions others have and will have. It’s a perfect fit and starts the bike right up. 5 stars for the price and for starting the motorcycle over and over super quick with no problems. Here’s why it’s so cheap: the battery terminals aren’t threaded so the screw doesn’t go directly in. The terminals have regular clearance holes and they provide a nut that goes under the terminal for the screws to go into. Not a problem but just be careful not to drop one of those nuts before you screw the battery terminals back on. ... show more

Up front, the BATTERY receives 1 star. The SELLER receives 5 stars. Review for 2012 Ducati 848 EVO (Yuasa as Original Equipment - 6 years of use). As is my case, I just decided to try the inexpensive replacement, and ended up with a dud. The battery fit just fine (although did NOT come with screws and threads, so SAVE YOURS from your removal). I charged it to 100% prior to install, and after the first start it went completely flat. I was worried it surged and blew some fuses or starter relay, but putting the old batter back in everything worked. I recharged overnight and tried again the next day. Same result. No telling if the battery was damaged in shipping or just poor quality control. Regardless no good for me. Good news - upon contacting the seller, they responded same day, without argument, asking if I'd like a refund, or a duplicate product. I opted for the refund, at which point they provided me with a return shipping label (no expense to me), same day again. I mailed it back and they confirmed receipt and refunded my money. I'm opting to pay more for another Yuasa (225 CCA). Perhaps this battery would work ok on a smaller 4 cylinder - maybe the 850cc Twin was a bit much to turn over. ... show more

The battery arrived quickly, and was fully charged. Dimensions and power were as advertised. My motorcycle started strong. Time will tell how it holds a charge. Will update if it dies.
