It is a nice chair for the price but it only looks good in certain spaces. If you're looking for an accent chair to put in a small area of a room, this is a good purchase. I thought the chair was bigger and wanted to use it as a sitting chair in my living room. It did not look good. If I had gotten a second to put with it, they still would not have looked too small for the space. It sits very low to the ground. The chair looks nice but is definitely firm. The packaging was great and it arrived in perfect condition. The assembly was easy as well. I do thing it could work in some arrangements but it wasn't what I had in mind. ... show more

I must admit previous reviews (and pictures) helped me very much into picking this specific chair. So i'm adding quite few pics of my own! I love it! It fits my vision for my home office perfectly. LOVE the color! Is more a royal/cobalt blue than a navy color. It was pretty simple to put it together, minor issues with one screw but a lot of practice in building home furniture allowed me an easy fix and sail through it. For some reason i expected plastic legs but to my pleasant surprise they seem to be wood or some hard pressed wood? not sure but they do smell like wood! Something i didn't notice in other reviews is that the tools included a couple extra plastic washers for the legs so that one can level the chair if needed be. As other stated, the chair sits VERY low. But this is the reason why i picked it. I needed a luxury chair to set next to a coffee table and this one is perfect. I do want to add tho that is totally possible to add different feet. The base of the seat is very thick pressed wood and some hardware store legs would be easily screwed on. The fabric is fantastic. The seat is very firm, also another plus for me. I prefer firm furniture. The chair is comfortable for me, i am not skinny nor overweight, classic average and i have plenty room sitting on it even cross legged. I am very happy with it! ... show more

I purchased the Dark Teal in July, 2018 to see if it would look good in the room and to examine the quality. I have never purchased this type of furniture via the web and figured it would look cheap, poor quality and workmanship, based on the cost. This was going to be a chair in my prayer room which is a small room upstairs. Much to my surprise, the chair was delivered, easy to put together with little effort in less than an hour to assemble, and the fabric and cushion was more than I anticipated. Firm cushion which I like, I do not like chairs that are soft and sink down when you sit on them, beautiful fabric, sturdy legs. From the web, I thought the short legs would be too low to the ground to sit in and difficult trying to get up. This is not the case, I am 5’6” and I have senior friends who find it extremely comfortable. Since, I liked it so much, I needed a second chair in the room and decided to go with a winner and purchased the Gray model in November 2018 to complement the Teal and they both look beautiful. Unfortunately, the price went up when I purchased the Gray but felt if it is the same quality as the Teal, it would be worth the price. I highly recommend purchasing and hope you have the same experience as I did with my two purchases. ... show more

Absolutely gorgeous chair but if you are looking for comfort you are in for a very big surprise! Without a doubt the most uncomfortable chair and we bought the sofa too, ever!!!! It’s like sitting straight away on a piece of board. Not very much cushioning. I think they definitely could have done better. Wtbs it fit the bill perfectly for us as we needed something very small and small it is for an efficiency senior apt with a bedroom. We don’t entertain and we don’t use the LR very much so it’s okay for us. We ordered the whole set. The chair, sofa, ottoman, and recliner! All so beautiful to look at I wish they offered a bit more comfort! Can’t beat the price either!!! Chair was exceptionally easy to put together. Hubby had it done in 15 min! With everything I said I do recommend the chair even in spite of it being uncomfortable! It’s just so pretty and you can’t beat the price! ... show more

This chair is so comfortable and quite beautiful! It took me roughly half an hour to unbox and put together. The seat and back come in these big furniture protector bags inside the box. The bags did have a couple tears in them, but the upholstery on the chair was spotless! The legs and hardware come wrapped up inside the seat, which has a velcro cover for aesthetic (really, who's eye level is low enough to see the hollow underseat on this thing, clearance is only six inches). The bolts can be a little difficult to get in, but if you have a screwdriver with the little hex bits (is that what they're called, I'm not exactly a handyman...), then it'll go much faster. Overall, this chair is awesome and totally worth the price. I'm using it as a ln accent piece in my living room. Highly recommend!!! And a note: I bought the Dark Charcoal color and it is darker in person than what shows on my crappy phone camera, in case you're looking for color comparisons. ... show more

Overall I am pleased with these chairs. They look more comfortable than they are (they are on the firm side, though I'm hopeful that with regular use they may soften up a bit), and they are heavier and sturdier than I expected. They are a very dark grey -- nearly black -- which I like a lot. I've been fooled more than once by "dark grey" furniture that shows up looking a lot lighter and more boring than the photos, but the color is true to the listing photos for these. Upholstery is a little puckered in some areas along the sides where the wing curves, but for the price these are a good deal. I would call these perfect for staging or for an accent chair that won't see a ton of use. ... show more
