    • Not the same old bar stool.
These are really nice stools. They are well made and the finish on the wood is A+!! They are very easy to assemble with the provided Allen key, they are light weight and easy to pick up a move around but that doesn’t mean they are not strong because they are. Solid wood frame and fabric seat top with foam padding. The pictures do it no justice as they are much nicer looking in person. Well done Mr. Knight. ... show more

I purchased my items from Amazon warehouse and figured out why it was returned. The predrilled holes in the seat are covered by the fabric so it may be difficult for some. Mine also didn't come with any instructions, but luckily the hardware was attached in a Ziploc bag. The Allen wrench was included but I also used a drill and a long screwdriver. First I laid out the parts and hardware. I laid part B on one side and used the long screwdriver to screw the long screw in to attach part D to it. Then part C already had wooden dowels in mine so I used the Allen wrench to attach the bolt to it. Insert the other part B to the other side of D and C and tighten hardware. For the seat cushion it was easier for me to drill it with the small screw and the bracket into part B first, but not tighten. The seat also has wooden dowels inserted already so I positioned the stool upside down onto the seat and aligned the brackets. I put the screw into the hole of the bracket and slid it around until the screw sunk a bit to find the predrilled hole. I drilled in the screws and tightened everything and it's a perfectly good budget stool. The paint on it does get messed up easily and cushion is kind of hard but overall I'm happy with it in this price range. ... show more

I love these stools, especially for the price! I looked for almost a year to find stools that fit well with my decor and that were outrageously expensive. I was so happy when I found these. We don't use them a lot, but when we do use them they are super sturdy and not too bad to sit on. The cushion isn't very thick so they probably wouldn't be very comfy if you were to sit on them for a long time, but they are great for a quick meal. I just love the way they look! ... show more

Love the look of these stools, and they are nice and comfortable. The assembly wasn't too bad, however I noticed that the stools dont stay together well, and I am having an issue with feeling bolts on the top on the cushion. I may have done the assembly wrong, but it is still unfortunate. Love the stools and how they look, just not how well they seem to stay together. ... show more

    • Assembly is a littel tricky, just take your time.
I like the look and feel of these stools. They are quite comfortable, and very sturdy. There are a lot of complaints in the comments regarding the assembly and the stickers associated with that assembly. I found that you will need a hammer to set the dowels all the way into the base, or you may be able to feel them through the cushion. I also avoided using power tools as much as possible as the screws supplied are not the strongest. I did have one break on me, so I suggest hand tightening things. I did start to use the drill driver for putting the small screws into the seat towards the end. The stickers that mark the steps of assembly are indeed difficult to remove, but I really only found the need to remove two of them as the others were so far up inside the stool that you will only ever see them if you turn them over. The others just take some patience to get them and their glue off. Aside from those nit picky things, they are quite stylish and comfortable to use. ... show more
