Would give 6-stars if I could because the item is ideal but the shipper beat the delivery estimate by FIVE days. My daughter was prepared to wait until next week for this and I can’t tell you how excited we were when that box arrived. It’s about 3x heavier than you think it’s going to be. Foam seems clean and new. Doesn’t smell like latex and the cover feels great on your skin. My daughter absolutely loves it. Super comfy for adult-napping, post-bedtime stories, kid sleepovers or even for a regular living room.

UPDATE: After having this thing for a few months, I regret to inform that the color bleeds like nobody's business. My white vinyl flooring and walls are almost as blue as the bean bag itself. Now I have to figure out how to remove the stains to avoid a bill from the landlord. BUYERS, BEWARE! ____________________________________ It's ok. I can't say anything negative about it. Although I do wish it had more "filling" as it's a bit too mushy for my liking. And there's no way this thing is eight feet long. I ordered an eight footer but I can lay almost entirely across it. For that reason alone, I'd return it if it were worth the hassle. A really comfy bean bag, just not what I expected.

After reading a bunch of “sofa bean bad” reviews I settled on this one. I chose it because almost all of these under $300 had reviews saying there was not enough stuffing. This one had some good reviews, some bad, and was on sale at the time. I bought it with the intention of adding more stuffing. Upon opening there was a slight chemical odor, however it was not overpowering, and went away after several days. I love that the outer cover can be taken off and washed. Speaking of the cover, it feels tough, and is very comfortable to the touch. Really the things dragging this down are the amount of stuffing, and the size description. I am 6’4” and the bag is just large enough for me to lounge on. I bottom out very easily with the factory only stuffing. My kids love this thing, and it is great for them. If I was just taking them into consideration I would give this 5 stars. We use it in our family/theater room and it works great for another spot to lounge other than the couch. Overall satisfied with the product.

UPDATE #2: Deapite having spoken to the company and emailing them they are claiming they SUDDENLY have no record of correspondence and will not be replacing the cover after already stating they would. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE UPDATE! RED STAINS faintly but it DEFINITELY STAINS go with another color or place something under it. Ok so overall I like the bean bag but it does get clumpy and squished VERY easily. We received ours with a small hole in the cover and have yet to receive a replacement cover. We purchased the red and I am really surprised that it hasn't stained our carpet. Overall a nice product but the customer service is definitely lacking. Also, it's pretty huge to have to constantly lift and fluff.

Really a nice item for the price (bit over 100 when we bought the 8 foot version in red). People love it when visiting. Very easy to take a nap on this - hard not to. The 8 footer fully contains a 5'9" adult with room to spare. It took a bit of time to break up the memory foam chunks and load them in the bag but it was easy enough. My hands were tired from breaking up the chunks of memory foam but I think I was being impatient. If you just load it and let it expand over night I think you do not need to break up every piece. Some comments said it was flat but that is very simple to cure like fluffing a pillow. I just rotate it 45 degrees and push it down a bit to break it up and then rotate again and do the same. In about 30 seconds it is fully and huge again ready for some to drop into. The 8 footer seems to be 8 feet at longest point to longest point and not 8 feet from seem to seem (that would make it 10 feet plus end to end). But it is huge.

I pulled the bag out of the box about 2 hours ago, so this is a brief initial review with more to follow once it’s fully grown and covered. The packaging was in mint condition and arrived far faster than expected. Very pleased with those aspects of the purchase. Instructions were basic and easy to understand. My initial experience has been very different than some reviews I read. Some complained of a smell. I didn’t have that. Some talked of having to break apart the foam. I didn’t have that either. The instant the plastic bag was removed, it started expanding. It doubled in size in 10 minutes. I flipped it over about a dozen times and allowed the kids to beat it up a little. It has now been 2 hours and it’s measuring 7 ft long and 3 ft in height. The instructions state it will continue to expand for the next 4 hours or so. Further, it could be a day or two before it reaches capacity. If that happens, this thing will be enormous! Some reviews complained of needing to add more foam. I can’t imagine that being necessary, but we’ll see as it gets frequent use. Some reviews mentioned the cover “bleeding” into the carpet/floor. I didn’t take a chance with that and immediately threw the cover in the washing machine on cold/delicate. Instructions say to spot clean with cold, but I believe a delicate wash cycle will be fine. I need to put the cover on in 3 hours or so, which could be interesting given how quickly the bag expanded. Again, this is just a quick initial review. Thus far, everything has been spot-on and it’s just a waiting game. It’s already very comfortable and I’m beyond pleased. UPDATE: Still very pleased. No bleeding issues or the need to fluff as often as some have reported. Two of my kids (8 & 10) have slept on it and slept extremely well. I have crashed it in for 2-3 hour stretches and could easily get an afternoon nap accomplished. Meets and exceeds our needs.
