I ordered this bag because I was so frustrated every year trying to fit my tree back into its box properly. I have a 7ft tree that is 48" in diameter with lights, pinecones, and berries. It separates into three pieces with a collapsible base. It fit easily with room to spare and barely pressing the "branches" down. I like that this is a canvas as opposed to the other ones I've seen that seem more like a tarp material. The canvas seems about the thickness of a standard duffle bag without the liner. The stitching and zipper seem good so far (although I wouldn't start pulling and tugging at the seams). I can't speak for the durability since I just got it, but for putting up on a shelf and storing, I can't imagine it will be falling apart any time soon. There is no form to it, which I knew and am completely ok with, but wanted to make note of for the sake of the review. It really is a massive tree duffle, which is perfect for us.

Perfect to store a tree!

We got the 7.5 foot bag for our 7.5 foot National Tree Company Dunhill Fir and itās perfect! Firstā¦be patient! At first you might think your tree wonāt fit but trust the process. Carefully flatten your tree pieces as much as you can. Remember all the work you put into fluffing those branches! You need to undo a decent amount of that. But it doesnāt take long, just a bit of patience and maybe 15 minutes of your time! Our 7.5 foot very full tree (itās big and heavy!) fit with extra room. I was very close to giving up (Iāll admit Iām not always the most patience) but we tried one more time and were pleasantly surprised. For us it worked best to put the middle tree piece in first, then the bottom, and last the very top. We also fit our tree stand and extra cords in the bag and thereās room for our tree skirt if we wanted. Another huge bonus is that it makes it so much easier to move/store the tree. Iām 5ā2 and very tiny (Iām not strong either š) and I was able to get our tree downstairs by myself with this bag. Storing the tree in the box was such a struggle!

Worked great! The box my tree came in was all broken, I was afraid the tree wouldn't fit or the bag would tear, but it worked great!! It fit perfect and help up perfect, I carried the tree to the storage unit and put it away the bag held the weight no problem!

My fiber optic tree is 7.5ā tall but bought the larger size so I could put the swags above the windows and wreaths into the bag also. The material the bag is made out of is thick and sturdy. My daughter said, the bag looked like a Xmas tree body bag. LOL. The bag has handles that make it easy to pick up the bag. Other than Xmas trees, this bag could be used for packing for moving clothes, blankets, those heavy bedspreads that have matching drapes. The 9ā is humongous and I highly recommend if you need to store your tree in your garage. No bugs, no dust, perfect! Ready for the following year.
