Violín came carefully packed Instrument itself is very light (almost feels like a toy 🤣) Instrument is not tuned ( I think that’s normal) Bow needs a lot of rosing to get a sound ( I also think that’s normal) My daughter is learning violin so we don’t know yet the sounds she will get out from the violin, but the instrument came in a beautiful case and hopefully this would be a good starter violin to later upgrade to something else

First Impressions (Out of the Box): Right away, I liked the cohesive look of this violin. The chin rest and tuning pegs are a natural brown that matches the body, which is different compared to my previous violin that had contrasting black fittings. The gold fine tuners are another nice touch—they add a bit of elegance compared to standard silver ones. The included rosin is of nice quality. The violin comes with a case (embroidered with the brand name Christina in gold letters) so that it is ready to go as soon as you receive the violin. No need to worry about ordering a case. The case is substantial enough for general use - packing away and storing. I have not tried to travel with this case. The case has a hygrometer and space for 2 bows as well as a storage for rosin, tuner, strap, and a dedicated space for the shoulder rest (which is all included with this violin). Tuning: The violin tunes fairly easily. As expected with a new instrument, the pegs do slip a bit at first, but this is normal. Applying gentle inward pressure while turning helps them stay in place. This violin includes an electronic tuner, which is a helpful addition. This is actually my second Christina violin—on my first, I relied on a piano for tuning. With this one, I used both the included tuner and a piano as a reference. The tuner works well and seems reasonably accurate, making it especially useful for beginners. Sound Quality: For the price, the violin produces a pleasant tone. It’s well-suited for beginners, but also perfectly adequate for more experienced players who want an affordable instrument for practice. It’s been especially nice for me as someone returning to the violin after about 14 years—I found it enjoyable to play. Cons: There are a few minor quality issues. The fingerboard has some visible scratches and areas that seem a bit unfinished. When I wiped it down, it left black residue on the cloth, which was a bit concerning. Overall, this violin offers a great value for the price. It includes everything you need to get started and looks visually appealing with its coordinated fittings and thoughtful details. While there are some minor finish issues, the sound quality and included accessories make it a solid choice for beginners or returning players who want an affordable, all-in-one option. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly violin that’s ready to play right out of the box, this is a solid option.

Beautiful tunes well. Very slight scratches on middle of back wood. Not as flamed on back. But hand varnish nice. Pegs chin rest accessories lovely with tone of varnish.I am not a professional I did not receive a key for locking case. Price matched this violin.

I bought this violin about 7 months ago! It came well protected. It is beautiful and perfect in every way. The craftsmanship is so detailed. If i up grade some day, I would stay with Christina’s Violins. They are well trusted and have Violins that cost $300. to $30000. They take pride in great sounding violins no matter what the cost! tuning is easy and as you play like with all new violins it stays in tune. I barely have to tune it now. I own a 4/4 full size. i am very happy with my purchase. Amazing quality for the price!

Great quality 3/4 violin and lots of extras for the money. But keep in mind these instruments are shipped directly from China so the wait time was about a month and I was not too thrilled with the tracking system through APC parcel logistics. Very little detail in the updates through the shipping process.
