I had really white curtains which made it really bright in my room especially in the mornings and daytimes. I'm pretty sensitive to bright lights, I prefer to be in dim lighting or in a darker room. There's a lot of black out curtains on Amazon but these are worth it! My bed is right below my bedroom window so every morning I used to get up with a headache from how bright it was in my room. Now, I can get up without that struggle. Now, they don't reach all the way down to my floor, so these curtains might be shorter than you anticipate, I didn't measure out my window or anything like that because it's a lot of work to be honest but I do like short curtains so this is still a win for me. It didn't come in with any wrinkles or anything like that. The set up took 5 minutes long and it's a good material. There's a tiny bit of sheerness but only if you look from afar but it's very little so you probably won't notice it. I have near full wall windows that needed covering but own cats so needed curtains had were a little more giving. Excellent purchase, though a few cons have been encountered. Little cat claws will cause holes that are for the most part easy to ignore, the length isn't what I needed despite measuring (I'd recommend buying longer) and it picks up hair very easily. The pros however are the price is excellent for the product you receive, it blocks light pretty well (though other reviews say buy darker for said effect) and they install easily. These are super soft curtains that are completely block out! Perfect if your in an area that has a lot of street lights! Super easy to hang and clean. Comes out wrinkle free from the drier. If you can go with the grey color they are a great deal, super great. They were discounted when I bought them and they seem to stay at a good price point. The reason for the 4* instead of 5 is that they aren't really lined for weather. Keeping the heat out and cold out isn't really going to happen but to calm the area with an ambiance and black out the area they work great. They seem to be wrinkle free. I put them in the dryer after I opened the package up and they straightened up easy. They are not sheer at all so don't expect to get any light in through them unless you pull them back. My only qualm with them is that they are slightly different lengths. I bought this set of two 38Wx54L blackout curtains to fit a 51” window opening above a tub. The bathroom window faces the street so I want curtains that will block the view from outside.
