This is a fun and easy gadget to make friendship bracelets with. One of my sons wanted one of these, and we have both had fun making them with this. I like that it has kind of a hidden slide-out "drawer" that can house some of the thread, and the knobs at the end of it make it nice and taut while using it, and easy to see where you've left off and where to begin again when you've set it aside to do other stuff. We made a few friendship Minecraft bracelets (in Minecraft colors) for a party and they were a neat hit, as well. It also comes with easy-to-follow instructions. This thing was crammed so tightly into the box (they actually added a cardboard spacer to make it an even tighter fit) that I had to rip the box to shreds to get it out and broke two nails in the process. First, I had to figure this out before the grand children could use it. So don’t just hand it to a kid. It is a little tricky to learn how to use it. My granddaughter is nine years old and she was able to learn it, but I had to set it up first. But it is well-made and fun. The directions are terrible, so go online and watch YouTube or something.
