It's a great shelf! But the brackets that come with it are way too small to hold it up. But after I put different brackets it works perfectly! I would buy it again. It's super easy to assemble, very sturdy, and is worth the price.

The shelf itself was easy to assemble. The brackets the come with this floating shelf however does not hold up and I'd had to purchase 10*8 shelf brackets. I love the shelf itself as a wonderful addition to my room. But I'd advise you to purchase separate brackets

With all ‘floating’ furniture, you need to be very mindful of the weight capacity and placement of items as things close to the edge can cause it to pull from the wall. Having said that, I didn’t overload this and kept the items on top to a minimum. I love it in theory but the execution not so much. It was at a full lean forward when installed. I’m shocked they didn’t include some sort of wall stop for the bottom half of the shelf to level it out a little bit. The hardware used for install seemed straightforward but again I didn’t trust it too much. ... show more

I was actually impressed with the quality of the wood and the simplicity of the setup. It’s very solid, heavy and easy to put together. What you should know is that those silly wall mounts they give you will barely support the shelf if you are screwing them into drywall with their anchors. You really need to mount to a stud. I also attached L brackets for added support. Please don’t try to attach this to your drywall with the anchors they give you, those are meant for masonry and will not hold the shelf. It’s surprisingly heavy and I would hate to feel what that would feel like coming down on someone (especially a child). That being said this was worth the money and I really like the quality of it and the fact that it took me 15-20 total to unbox and put together, I may even purchase another one in the future. ... show more

We have a huge tv in a small space. This floating shelf was a great solution to our problem. It came packaged nicely, all the pieces were there, and no scratches. It took some time putting it together but the instructions were very clear with every piece labeled. We did use bigger molly screws than what came with the package. It fits the sound bar, the DVD player, and hides the cords pretty well. Love it ... show more
