After trying many hair removers for my 3 cats (one is a long hair), this one works the best on furniture and comforter. Trick is to firmly rub back and forth on taught material, and not just in one direction. It covers large surfaces like sofa and comforter very quickly. I am Not one to write product reviews often but this one deserves one. We have two Australian Shepard’s and a Labrador that shed like crazy. We are currently at my sons home pup sitting his Australian Shepard that he lets sleep on the bed and he has a navy blue comforter. After 4 days I couldn’t take it anymore and my step daughter told me about this amazing tool. I bought Two on her word, one to leave here and one to take home with us. When I ordered the ChomChom roller, I was hoping that it would be adequate in removing both cat and dog hair. I am over-the-top happy with the results I have seen. I have used this on furniture, bedding, clothing and in the car. It does an amazing job lifting both cat and dog hair. Rolling the brush back and forth is the most efficient way to pick up the most hair. Sometimes on an item such as a blanket or on clothing, the back and forth motion doesn't work well. My recommendation is to roll in one direction several times and then use your hand to flip the cartridge back and forth and clean off the roller. Alternate rolling and then cleaning with your hand and you should get good results. Fantastic product! ... show more

I don’t normally leave reviews for products, I’m so unbelievably impressed. My husband and I have a hand-me-down Persian rug that we recently deep cleaned. I bought the Chom Chom to get pet hair off our couch but decided to use it on the rug to see how clean it (actually) was. I was insanely mind-blown by how much pet hair came up. I've had a Retriever/German Shepherd, two Akitas, and a Siberian Husky, & nothing compares to the Husky when it comes to shedding! This tool makes "de-hairing" your home so much easier, a workout with the necessary constant back-and-forth motion but easier because it picks-up & stores the dog hair. With rakes you need the rake and the vacuum, with the Chum-Chum all you need is it. In 5.5 yrs I've just bought my second one (I use it several times a day) and consider it essential in our home - especially when it comes to de-hairing dog beds, area rugs, blankets, & sofas. ... show more

I bought this for my Frenchie because she sheds a lot, and it had amazing reviews so I had to give it a try. This thing is amazing. Her fur is short and not super corse but they are needle like short hairs and they find their way into cushions, they don’t just lay on top, so the rubber grips pull out hairs that I didn’t even know where there! I used it on my roommates egg chair cushion that my girl loves to lay on and it worked like a charm! It even pulled out hairs I didn’t even see! It’s a little difficult to wipe clean because the static electricity makes her short hair stick to the plastic, so I usually rinse it off. I don't understand how this works so well, but it does. My bed sheets have been washed, lint rolled, used the special pet hair dryer sheets, and they were still covered in pet hair. I used this over the sheet just to test it. It got every piece of hair! Use small rapid motions. If only this worked on clothes all my pet hair problems would be solved ... show more
