Could not have been more pleased with this purchase. The stools are beautiful and very well made and while it took me a little while to put the 6 of them together (bought 3 sets), they are sturdy and I love the swivel feature for the most part as now the moving of the actual stool which would compromise the wood floors is less likely. I purchased the retro grey and it is a nice steel grey or close to charcoal color which is nice in terms of not staining and the faux leather is easy to clean. The only feature that is not my favorite is the 360 degree swivel...a back and forth or 180 degree swivel may have been better in preventing the back portion from hitting the counter top. The counter top height is PERFECTION in terms of comfort and your legs no matter the size fit comfortably underneath the counter overhang. I also liked that the chairs accommodate up to 300 pounds when most stools I found had max weight of 250 pounds. I felt like the extra 50 pound weight accommodation meant they would be more sturdy and they are indeed more sturdy than other stools I have considered. GREAT PURCHASE!!!!!

I’m well pleased with these barstools which I ordered to go with a counter height, 71” long, 16” deep table with a marble top that I’ve been waiting for about six weeks. I ordered three barstools and each took less than half an hour to put together. Using a drill for the screws made things a little easier. They swivel smoothly and the cushion is comfortably firm. I got the cloth fabric in the color fog and the nailheads go beautifully with that combination. The fabric has a nice tight weave and does not appear to snag easily. The nailheads were properly spaced and fastened securely. They really are lovely stools and I can’t wait for the table to arrive. The order came in multiple shipments. One box contained one stool and another box with two stools arrived a few days later. None of this was reflected in the tracking . It would’ve been nice to know this information because I thought something got lost along the way. The description says it accommodates up to 300 lbs. We had a friend over who was about 350 lbs. I was very nervous waiting for the chairs to crack, but they held up perfectly. It’s been about two months and I’m very pleased with these stools.

Best customer service ever. I had to send these chairs back because I mistakenly bought the wrong color. They were so nice and responsive and I love the chairs so easy to assemble. Very comfortable nice swivel that you need to allow extra spacing between chairs vs non swivels we had before. Still very happy with quality and comfort and look.

Rating for the chairs alone is a four, only because items were not fully assembled. Four legs and four crossbars had to be assembled and connected to chair. It was moderately hard but mostly time-consuming. The chairs are really beautiful and seem sturdy. They are well cushioned and fairly comfortable with plenty of seating room. They swivel nicely with just the right amount of effort. I have only had them for a few days so am unable to know how they will hold up to wear, etc. Rating for delivery is a big fat zero! FedEx delivered them to the wrong address. I contacted fedex and all they would say was that it had been delivered, and all they would do is tell me to contact the seller. It was not the sellers fault or problem. That belonged to fedex alone. What I had to do (and it was a lot of trouble) was drive around the neighborhood and search for the package. I did find it and it was delivered to the right number but the wrong street. Go figure. The box was extremely heavy and I (weighing 107 lbs) could only scoot it but not lift. I asked one of my neighbors to help me load it, and he couldn't lift it either. He called for more help and together they were able to load it into my car. The homeowners were not home so I explained to them through their video doorbell what had happened. I only hope the other neighbors didn't think I was stealing the package. An unpleasant experience except for the kindness of others willing to help. If I had known fedex was in charge of delivery, I would not have ordered as this same thing has happened before at another address. I am use to amazon delivery which is spot on every time. Btw, the stools were well packed and secure with all parts inside.

I spent weeks looking for bar counter stools for my kitchen renovation. I am so happy that I found these. They had mostly all good reviews , with a couple reviews that were a little negative, the biggest complaint being that the wood on the legs “ splinter” easily. They are made of birch, which DOES have a tendency to do that. I appreciate the heads up from those because it led my to buy a set of wood colored markers and some kind of wax crayon things, for <$10, so I feel prepared to repair any areas that splinter. Yes, we did use a drill when attaching the connecting rails to the legs, as some people suggested, but that was certainly no big deal. I ordered 3, and only 2 came the first day. I contacted Chita, who said they would contact me within 24 hrs., which I seriously doubted. Sure enough, a few hours later, a pleasant sounding lady called me and assured me the other chair would arrive today and it did! By the time he got to the 3rd chair, my husband put it together in about 15 minutes, drill and all. My only suggestion to Chita is that they should include a note that another box is on the way. They are beautiful and sturdy and I love them!

Sturdy, heavy stools. Footrest required an electrical drill to get screws in. Hard to screw into the solid wood. Other than that easy to assemble, came very well packed. Great value.

It’s hard to pick a rating for these counter stools because on the one hand, they are nice looking, comfortable, and seem generally sturdy. However, they were so fussy to put together. You *must* have a drill to put the wood screws in the cross bars. A screw driver wouldn’t cut it. Also, the wood of the chair legs is such poor quality—stringy splinters keep coming off! Heaven forbid you put your feet on the foot rest. So far I am coloring the light wood where splinters have peeled off with a dark marker, but for the price I expected better.
