ABSOLUTELY worth $30! The last swings I ordered had a smell, and this one does not, thank goodness. It's very soft and sturdy. The pictures of the blue look more royal blue in some and straight up turquoise in another. I was excited to see the blue bag it came, thinking the swing would match and actually be royal blue....but not so. The swing is turquoise all day every day. That being said, the swing itself is outstanding and exactly what I wanted, with room to hold up a head and feet. I'm 5'9" for reference. Oh and we assembled it in about 1 minute, which includes being able to just use our previous swing doohickey.

Update: Seller sent me a new chair to replace the broken one☺️. Very glad they reached out and made sure I was happy. This chair was beautiful and comfortable for 6 weeks, but then one day, I walk by it and see the strings have snapped 😢. I think it is fair to say there is a chance it was broken by someone else, like my landlord or neighbors, but it is preferable to think that the item was faulty than to suppose someone ruined it and didn’t tell me.
