I’m so glad I splurged on this straightener because it’s really good quality and CHI flat irons are never a miss. I have gotten different flat irons in the past, cheap or expensive, and they can never beat CHI products (In my opinion). So I’ve been on a hunt for a new straightener for the last year. I have thick, wavy/curly hair long that I often just leave in it’s natural state due to unreliable flat irons. I’ve tried in the last two months alone FIVE different types, and then finally went to this Barbie one. I only chose it for the ability to change temperature (one of the straighteners I tried was another Chi with one setting) , and it was the best decision. I normally don’t write reviews but this morning when tending to some tight curls near my face, I ended up straightening all of my hair in 20 minutes! That’s never been done with my hair specifically before and I was blown away!! On the way to work I even told myself I HAD to write a review on here because of it! So here I am! I set the iron at 350. It does the job for me. I don't want to turn my hair yellowish as I have pure white hair. I run the iron though pretty fast also. I like it very much :))
