This steamer has a larger reservoir than others I have had. It also puts out more steam than the others. The optional fabric brush works well to remove loose items from the fabric. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love this for tackling wrinkled clothes anything from tee shirts to jeans and formal wear. I use distilled water to keep any calcium from building up. I purchased a cheap bbq sauce dispensor for use filling the tank up since my iron has a small opening to fill its tank. So the dispensor just sits ready in the laundry room to fill either this clothes steamer or other laundry items that require water. However the tank to refill on this steamer does easily turn right out of its base to fill by bottle or faucet. I really like the soft grip finish on this steamer and overall think it’s an attractive looking steamer. It does get VERY hot if you chose that setting and the only thing I would recommend besides distilled water with it is to make sure to unplug it once you’re finished with using it. I’ve discovered that even when I switch the lever to off it maintains the heat to be started quickly back up. That might be an operator error since I did not read the instructions and I’m pretty confident that it clearly states how to use it. I just didn’t take the time to read the instructions. Since purchasing it’s been working great with tons of use and has shown to be a great laundry go-to. Highly recommend. ... show more

I think Im in loveee. This is the 5th time buying CHI products. 1 I've gifted because of my good experience with it. 4th CHI product I've ever owned. And my second for steaming. This was an upgrade to my previous one and I am pretty pleased. It is not too heavy, not the lightest but definitely manageable and fair considering its quality. I can tilt it and it will not leak. This steamer is impressive. I just received it today and decided to try it out on some blouses. I purchased the blouses from Amazon and they came shrink wrapped with a million creases and fold lines. I tried washing and drying, using wrinkle releaser, my old steamer and nothing removed the creases. I thought I was stuck with three blouses I would never be able to wear. I had been thinking about a new steamer for a while, but kept reading that the one I had was the top rated. I did a little more digging and discovered that in some of the trials, the Chi actually squeezed out the highly ranked Conair. I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. It removed every fold line, crease, and wrinkle and now I have three new blouses that I love. I will update if something changes my mind, but for now if you are looking for a steamer you won't go wrong with this one. ... show more

I ordered this as a NEW product, but it arrived clearly USED. The steamer has scratches, scuff marks, and signs of prior handling. This is not what I paid for. Very disappointing experience.
