I originally bought this for detailing my car... and 2.5 years after, one day I was just beside myself unable to make my work shirts smell acceptable to wear in. Before trying Chemical Guys Lightning Stain Remover, I had tried various super expensive biofilm busting detergents, athletic wear laundry soaps, stain removers, different deodorants, various soaps to wash... literally nothing worked. I can't tell you how depressing it was to "ruin" new shirts the first time I wore them. I was afraid to hug family and friends. I was nervous around people. I was double washing my clothes. I tried switching away from cotton to poly blends. NOTHING WORKED. So one day... I don't know why... Suddenly it occurred to me I should try the Lightning Stain Remover. I mixed it up at a 20:1 or 15:1 ratio. I sprayed it on the armpits of some typically awful shirts with the lowest expectations. I let it soak in for about 5 minutes, agitated it with a little brush and then washed as usual. I took out my damp shirt after the spin cycle, expecting it to have the familiar gross spice... and I was SHOCKED that it did not smell. It wasn't less. It was GONE. I tried it on more laundry. It worked. Finally. In the past couple of weeks, I have redeemed shirts I was ready to throw away. I bought a designer blazer on eBay for cheap because they couldn't get the deodorant stain and reek out... 5 minutes of carefully spraying, gently brushing and saturating and rinsing... and the blazer is in pristine condition. The beaded gown I wore to a wedding that of course had white stains and the sharp sweat smell is back to new condition. Everything I used it on is restored. I have used Lightning Stain Remover with no problem on cottons, polyester, rayon, nylon, acrylic, wool. I freaking love this stuff and the price is incredible in comparison to finicky so-called biofilm busting laundry detergents that do jack. My tip for you: mix up a solution at 15:1 or 20:1... and saturate the stain by gently squeezing and working the solution into the fabric. If it's really bad (or a textured surface like beading overlay or thick blazer with a lining), spray from both sides. In addition to squeezing, you might want to brush with a soft toothbrush. Let sit 1-2 minutes. Repeat as needed. Rinse or flush with water or wash as normal. NOTE: Before flushing with water, it may still be stinky. It doesn't necessarily neutralize the odor, but it does lock onto the scent and allow water to flush it out. Thank you Chemical Guys. Please never stop making this. ... show more

I am on the fence on this one. The product worked pretty well, I suppose. Am I extremely happy with it, maybe more like moderately. It looks like it did a great job from the pictures and it did make my seats look better. BUT, that was after some work. First of all, I don't have kids and have rarely used the back seat although it looks like its used and abused regularly. It's just everything stains this upholstery, even water leaves stains when it dries. However, the process I used is, I sprayed the seats full concentration with the product and worked it in with an electric srcub brush with fairly a lot of pressure. Then I wiped with a microfiber cloth. I could see right away that it wasn't a magic product and this was going to take time (even on my less soiled seats). I let it sit for several hours and came back with a bucket of water and manual scrub brush. After scrubbing, I rinsed and wiped with another microfiber cloth. I would recommend the product but if you have deep stains know its going to take work. I have now bought seat covers. ... show more

It is pretty clear what isde of the seat I cleaned with this stuff compared to the dirty side. I tried using other stuff after cuz I ran out of this stuff and it didn't work half as good as the chemical guys product. I totally recommend it. I used it on light tan interior of a honda accord that was disgustingly filthy from the previous owner and it came out way better then expected. But it didn't last as long as I hoped and will need to buy another bottle. I didn't dilute it cuz it was in a spray bottle already which makes diluting it difficult and confusing since it's In a spray bottle already but whatever. ... show more

This product worked. I sprayed it on right from the spray bottle. It says I should be diluting it. But whoever heard of diluting something that comes out of a spray bottle. So I sprayed it on my sheet straight, and then I washed the sheet and rinsed it twice. So if there’s anything caustic in the product, I hope I got it out before I lie down on it. ... show more

This stuff works so well. Smells clean. Even took stains out of a seat in a vehicle that were there a year before I got it and I’ve had it a year. Took barbecue sauce out of my wife’s favorite hoodie with no residue or color behind whatsoever. Will buy again.
