I bought Chemical Guys Foam and Wool Citrus-Based Pad Cleaner to clean foam pads I had used to apply Wolfgang Concours Series WG-5500 Deep Gloss Paint Sealant to my car. The Chemical Guys cleaner didn't appear to dissolve the sealant at all. Despite several attempts soaking the pad at various concentrations of the cleaner, when I rinsed and squeezed the pad, I kept getting the remnants of the sealant. The Chemical Guys cleaner didn't dissolve the sealant residue even when I applied it full strength to what I had squeezed out of the pads. To make matters even worse, the sprayer that came attached to the bottle wouldn't dispense any of the cleaner, and I had to force the sprayer off of the bottle to get to use any of the cleaner. Overall, this product ended up being a big time waster as well as a waste of money. ... show more

I had my doubts when I first bought this. I thought it was too good to be true. One of the few times I was wrong and didn’t regret it. The way I use it is, two or three sprays on my 6” foam pads place the pads under running water and the wax, polish or compound are easily rubbed away using my fingers. FYI I always wear surgical gloves when I work on my cars. I highly recommend this product for its effectiveness and ease of use. ... show more

I received this as a free sample with an order and kind of laughed at it like “who buys this stuff” then I tried it and this is the second bottle I’ve paid for. It works really well, draws waxes and sealers right out of the pad. It’s actually worth the $10 as much as I hate to admit it :)

I was skeptical about this product, but it actually works pretty good. I used some small pads for polishing parts of my car and afterwards I just let them soak in water and dish soap for little bit. Then rinsed them under warm water while spraying them with this product. Besides the adhesives falling of the pads. They fairly kept there shape and color and cleaned very well with minimal product used. I used 3 sprays, 3 times per pad, but 1 spray, 3 times would of been sufficient for these smaller pads. ... show more

This product works but, my bottle arrived cracked open and a couple ounces of the product were spilled out and the sprayer didn't work. The screw off is incredibly hard to screw off as well (never got it off). I just tried to drizzle the product onto my pads and lost about half of what was left in the bottle on the counter. It would be the right thing to do for chemical guys to send me another bottle (hopefully one that works correctly). I went to walmart and they had every chemical guys product but this one. Great product! I find myself using more and more Chemical Guys stuff. I love how the products come full strength and you dilute them down. I have a couple extra detailing bottles that I pour the excess into and use the bottle it came with for application. Nice labeled bottle with a sprayer. Diluted down 20:1, it worked great to clean my pads. Might even up the dilution a little but still fine at 20:1. Had a couple pads that needed to be cleaned. They sat for 2 days while I waited for this to get here (my fault for running out and not ordering sooner). Sprayed about 3-4 sprays on each pad, let them sit for 15 minutes then rinsed them off and had no problem getting all three pads clean. The old stuff I was using to clean my pads was a waste of product and money compared to this stuff. This is the way to go for pad cleaning. ... show more

Awesome. I have pads that were dirty and filled with wax that I thought was cleaned from using simple green and/or dish washing soap. I used this pad cleaner and total big difference. I haven't used this whiteboard in a while because I cleaned and cleaned it but the old wax was still clogged in it. I used this polishingnpadcleaner and in less than a minute, significant difference. This stuff is the best! I spray some on a dirty buffing pad and the soak it face down in a bucket with some cold water. After a while, II rinse and squeeze the pads while under a faucet and the pad comes out spotless and appearing like new. Let air dry and start buffing again. Great Stuff !!!
