---updated August 19, 2019 Knocking from 4 stars to 3 stars due to the most recent box of these barbecue Chicken jerkeys having really soft sticks, they didn't have the harder (but not hard) texture of the previous 4 boxes I've order in the past. The texture of this latest box of jerkey sticks is more like a hotdog straight from the refrigerator ie. soft, not what you expect any jerkey sticks to chew like, they should chew like a chunk of salami, they don't! I thought about throwing them away since they may be tainted, but I've eating a couple so far and I have not gotten sick yet, albeit not liking the soft texture. I hope this was just a one-off, but if the next box is soft, it'll be time to find another brand! ---end of update, below was my original review. Delicious! I'm diabetic so protein is the best type of snake for me. I actually use them as meals because I HATE to cook ... been cooking for 30+ years. I'm retired, and that means from cooking, most of the time. I'm always looking for snacks that aren't going to kill me. I tried the jerky products sold in stores. They can be satisfying but have SO much salt in them. They also tend to be very tough. So I shopped on Amazon instead and have fallen IN LOVE with the meat snack sticks here on Amazon. So far my favorite is the barbeque and pineapple pork. But they are SO darned addicting I decided to try a few others just to slow my roll .... This week I ordered two chicken snack sticks. This Chef's Cut barbeque is MUCH better of the two chicken flavors. The BEST of the chicken snacks I've tried so far. I like sweet better than spicey. This one is sweet but not horribly so. The texture is nice, relatively soft and fresh-tasting. You don't have many choices of chicken snack sticks, so this one is good to try! ... show more

I have ordered these twice now. The first batch I received the product tasted great and was very tender or soft when chewed. The second batch I just received was completely different. These were hard when chewed. Are they spoiled? Am I going to get sick? How should these taste? Hard or tender like the product states? Can I return them? ... show more

In our office we have the Jack Links beef stick for everyone. I kind of like the idea of not having carbs or sweets when you snacked at the office so I thought of ordering one at home. While searching for beef sticks, I skipped Jack Links to try these and I got these because we love the Beef Jerkies we ***always*** get at Costco. The flavour is great (personally I still like the beef jerky flavour more), but my one, single issue is only this: The packaging is difficult to peel. I guess I got used to how easy to peel the similarly-packaged-in-style Jack Links one, so I suppose, to fix this would be to get whoever does the packaging for Jack Links. Despite that, I really like this product, just a little pricy and that packaging issue. ... show more

The Chef’s Cut barbecue chicken sticks are tasty & low calorie with a good amount of protein in making for a good choice for a snack to eat. The only downside naturally is the amount of cholesterol in them & sodium in them. Price is another one but that can be mitigated some by looking for a place that sells them for less other then the local supermarket or convenience store. But I still recommend these as I buy them here as it is so far the best price per stick I have found! ... show more

I was turned off the idea of a chicken stick at first, I feed similar treats to my dog. The first few bites tasted a little bit like chemicals but now I like the bbq flavor and I pack one in my lunch everyday. They are the lowest calorie meat stick I have been able to find too. I wish they were a little bit cheaper, although one box lasts me 16 days. $50 a month in chicken jerky.... ... show more

The product arrived on time. It came in one of those display boxes where you tear thr perforated portion away to give easy access. The sticks are fresh and individually packed. The barbecue chicken flavor is lightly sweet and flavorful. My partner, who enjoys sweet meats finds them irresistible. This is great because they are only 60 calories a stick.
