I didn't realize this until I had already opened the package. So I ordered again, thinking someone mistakenly shipped the wrong flavor. I again, received the wrong item( peppered)...stupidly had opened it again without checking. I've been loving this beef jerky for over 25 years and when I moved from CA to VA yrs ago, I couldn't find it anymore so I found it on Amazon and it was perfect up until this last order it was nit the same peppered jerky I always got from them it didn't have any pepper visible on it and it was soft like it was smoked long enough, I'm hoping it was a one time mistake, If not I'll have to cancel my subscription and have to find something else and I don't want to 😫 I love tillamook everything and will update in 2 months when I get my next order ... show more

These taste slimy, for lack of a better word. Idk what on earth it is but it's slick like butter in a pan of brownies. Very unappealing. I've had these forever and only ate a few. Sad because jerky is one of the best foods on earth. Also it's SO salty! What's with all the salt and grease

This jerky is so easy to eat. It's nice and tender. It reminds me of the ones you get at the gas station by the counter that you grab with tongs. It is seriously delicious.

Jerky is a preference thing so people that like dry chewy jerky will not like this. People who don’t like jerky that is chopped and formed won’t like it either….people that like smoky, moist (not wet). Jerky that is tender and easy to chew will love this jerky. I like the individually wrapped slabs as it maintains freshness and tenderness for an easy chew. Werner honey glazed slabs are very similar but have a little more spice and is a little drier like most jerkies. I only mention this as Werner is also a tillamook product. I eat a ton of jerky and this is my favorite because it is very consistent in flavor and moistness whereas the Werner brand can be moist or dry depending on batch/freshness. Cant go wrong with this jerky. Try it you won’t be disappointed ... show more

I used to get this at one of my local gas stations that I frequently visit and has been the best I have ever had. Unfortunately my gas station stopped carrying this and after buying a pack in hope for it to be what I used to get, THIS IS THE GAS STATION JERKY I WOULD GET!!!! It is somewhat sweet with very mild pepper flavor. Gonna buy again next time for sure. Better than Jack Links, imo old trapper, and werner. Like I said before, you can taste the sweetness which I love.
