So my Messermeister chef bag was over 3yo and the utility zipper pocket stated to tear at the stitching so I needed a new chef bag immediately. I've been browsing for a new bag and had selected this Noble bag as one of my choices prior to needing one. I searched for another messermeister chef knife bag but found that it is twice as expensive as this one, and being over $50 I didn't think that it was worth it. I'm a career cook/chef with over 20 years of experience but the restaurant in at right now I don't need my complete set of knives and tools. So basing my choice on a bag with at least 10 slots for knives, a few slots for extra Sharpies and pens, a pouch for other tools like my peelers, fish bone tweezers, shears and spoons, this Noble knife bag and to fit majority of my criteria. Upon receiving it today I found out that my diamond steel is just a tad too long to easily fit (18.2"), but that's easy to overcome so not huge a problem. One tiny issue is that where the picture shows small pockets for tasting spoons, mine do not fit as the handles are too wide, so instead that's where my Sharpies/pens are... I don't need a cleaver so this sleeve with the added benefit that it has velcro to close off the end it becomes an additional utility pocket where my shears can go so the webbed zippered pocket doesn't get the webbing damaged! So overall, this knife bag has many options with more than enough pockets for knives and utility tools! The durability is yet unknown as I have just received it, even though the material feels thinner than my messermeister bag which had lasted over 3 years of extreme use, so we will see... The best is the price! $25 is affordable for everyone and much cheaper than most of the other brands, but cheaper does not mean lower quality! There are metal zippers that feel like the YKK type that is butter smooth! So the high quality is there! (even the messermeister bag which cost more doesn't have the metal zippers!) This Noble knife bag is compact with a hand handle and a shoulder strap for easy carrying. As far as I can tell, this is a quality knife bag for a low price, so technically I could buy two for the price of one messermeister ($59) and not worry about if it were to ever tear or whatnot! I recommend this bag and will update my review if anything starts to break down... Lastly, this knife bag is much more compact than all my other previous knife bags I've owned throughout my career and it suffices my current needs. Shipping was very fast to Hawaii, like 3-4 days fast! (usual shipping to Hawaii is 7-9 days!). I know I'm going to enjoy owning this Noble Chef Knife Bag! ... show more

There are two things many rental vacation homes lack. Comfortable furniture and inadequate kitchen equipment, especially sharp knives for the serious cook. There have been times when we've purchased kitchen gear & left it for the next tenant. Yes, we dine out while on vacation, but in rural areas we like to prepare 'farm to table' meals. Recently someone gave me yet another full knife block, so it was time to sort out what we use at home, what we could use when renting a vacation home, and what went out the door to donation. I decided it was time to purchase a travel bag to add better organization to the kitchen gear we often tote along on trips. This Chef’s Knife Roll Bag certainly fills our needs. It is well constructed and has plenty of room to store sharp objects safely. It folds to a reasonable size, and the carry strap will be handy. We won't be traveling for a while due to COVID, but when life goes back to normal, we won't be buying kitchen knives to leave behind. I am quite happy with this purchase. ... show more

I bought this store my meat cutting knives as I prefer my own knives for cutting meat so far the bag has held up to a lot of use. Good buy for the money as others I've seen go for more and do the same thing.

    • Exactly as described and VERY well built!
Being a military family and personally a home chef, I have to take my knives back and forth from our permanent home in Florida to wherever my wife is currently stationed. (Oklahoma right now!) This creates an issue with knife transport, and up till now I have loaded a block in my baggage to protect my very expensive knives. This roll is very VERY well built, strong, and robust. All of my knives, as well as a few utilities fit easily in the roll, I further protect them with blade sleeves, and have seen no banging or roughing while rolled at all. Furthermore, this roll makes it so easy to lay out and grab the exact knife I'm reaching for in a hurry. Being somewhat OCD about my blades, I can nonethless NOT find a single fault with this roll, and I am ecstatic that this purchase met my needs at a very reasonable price. Looking for value and performance, not looks, though the roll does look good...just not a ridiculous, expensive leather-type container. Awesome and VERY heartily recommended! A+++ ... show more

    • Beautifully made, quality bag
This bag is beautifully made, sturdy, with nice strong zippers and will hold my large knife collection (I have multiple chef's knives I use depending on what I feel like using, two boning knives, multiple paring knives, a bread knife, a small hand-held sharpener, and a cleaver. I have to see if it will fit my sharpening steel as well.) The material is thick and not flimsy at all. The straps and clips work perfectly to hold the roll together and allow me to sling it over my shoulder to carry it easy. If you are looking for a really nice travel bag for your knives, I recommend this bag. (If you want a smaller or larger knife roll, check this Seller and its products since they have knife roll bags of varying sizes; I'd imagine their other sized roll bags are of similar quality as this bag.) ... show more
