Some time has passed since my mother passed away. My sister, who devoted herself completely to caring for her during her difficult illness, decided to keep two accessories that Mom always treasured: a delicate chain with a flower-shaped pendant and a metal watch in silver and gold tones. Unfortunately, the watch, which was not a luxury piece, eventually broke beyond repair. My sister was heartbroken; she often said that checking the time on that watch made her feel like Mom was close by—a comforting reminder that she valued deeply. In an effort to console her, I searched on Amazon for something that resembled the original watch as closely as possible and discovered the CHEETAH watch. It is almost a faithful replica, featuring the same vintage style with a small, white, and minimalist dial. While I know that the sentimental value of the original is what matters most to my sister, I was impressed by the quality of this new watch. Unlike the previous one, this model features a quartz movement, which gives me peace of mind knowing it will be highly accurate and reliable. Other details that influenced my decision include: I was concerned it might be too loose on her wrist, but the package includes a tool for adjusting the links on the stainless steel strap. This allowed me to easily size it to her wrist right at home. It is a very lightweight watch, designed to be unobtrusive throughout the day, and it boasts a water resistance rating of 3 ATM—meaning she won't have to worry if it gets splashed while washing her hands or during daily use. The two-tone finish (silver and gold) has a luster that looks high-quality, giving it that delicate, jewelry-like appearance that my mother loved so much. Honestly, I think this is an excellent watch for the price; it looks fantastic and feels solid. I’m not sure if my sister will wear it every day or if she will keep it tucked away as a keepsake, but my hope is that whenever she glances at her wrist, this little object will bring a smile to her face and serve as a sweet reminder of Mom. I did not have high expectations because of the low price. Well prove me wrong. This is exactly what I’m looking for. Simplistic and Accurate. I really like the face of the watch. I wear readers and do not need to put them on to see the face. The face is designed so it is clear and easy to read. The size is also slightly larger…just what I want. The accuracy speaks to the quality of this piece. There is a second hand and it shows the date. The band is one of those accordion type metal bands. I had one years ago. I didn’t like the band because it pinched my skin. Not this band. The links are smooth and there is plenty of expansion. The silver color is pristine…no imperfections. It goes with everything. I love how dainty this watch is. It is slim, with a small watch face. The luster on the metal is very shiny. The whole look is high end and sleek. It is very stylish and will coordinate well with lots of different outfits. It can fit a wide variety of wrist width, because it is adjustable and can be sized down with the included tool.
