I'm trying not to be too biased, but I do just adore and love Charlotte Tilbury cosmetics. This product is no exception. It comes packaged nicely and the product is in a squeezaable tube. This is a normal applicator for CT products, you just open, squeeze out some product and dab it on your face where you need some contouring, or bronzing. It comes in 7 different levels of darkness, I got the fair/medium color for myself because I'm kinda pale. I had big dreams of having a great tan this summer, but it didn't work out so I have CT to give me a little color. The application is simple enough, you pull the top off, twist the lower part of the top applicator to open it, then squeeze the product onto the fluffy top and you are ready to go! I then dab where I need contour and then I use a brush to blend into my makeup or primer or whatever, then finish with some setting spray and you are good to go 👍🏻 With 7 colors to choose from, anybody should be able to find a suitable shade for your skin color. The price may seem steep at first, but this product lasts and lasts and provides such a nice finish that it really is very reasonable with how much use you can get out of it. So, go get your glow on boys and girls and contour away with this lovely product. Put it on top of your CT primer and you'll look stunning.

I have to admit that I am a fan of Charlotte Tilbury makeup. However, I have never used contouring makeup before so I wasn’t sure I would like it. I chose the fair/medium shade for my medium complexion. I first tried it in the hollows of my cheeks. You twist the top of the tube and the color comes up through the sponge applicator. The makeup is sheer and melted easily into the foundation I was wearing. Although I used the applicator, I also used my fingers to smooth it where I wanted it. I really didn’t think that having hollow cheeks was a great look for me. I decided to try it on my nose which is not too wide, but could use a more refined look. Oh my, I loved this effect. My nose looked thinner and more chiseled. I checked it from the side to make sure it didn’t look like a big brown smudge on the side of my nose, but it seemed to blend in without a demarcation. I was very pleased to be able to create this effect despite my inexperience with contouring. This is not something I would bother with everyday, but would certainly use for a special night out. The only negative I have is that the tube felt like it was almost half empty at the first use. This line of makeup is pricey, but if that is not an issue I would recommend this item..

I love Charlotte Tilbury products so this review might be a little biased, LOL. I was excited to get and try this liquid version of contour as I had only used a powder version previously. I am familiar with the applicator as I have a CT liquid blush wand and this one is identical. I thought it was odd that the weight of the tube was light and it felt like the tube was only half full. For application, I squeezed a little bit out onto the sponge tip and then used a liquid foundation brush to dab it onto the sponge tip and then onto my cheeks, jawline, sides of nose and around my hairline. The finish of the contour product like most CT products has shimmer in it. CT is known for her "glow." It applied very easily and blended well. I am very heppy with the results and will continue to use it! For $42, I think this contour stick is a little on the higher side. But that is true of all CT products.

When I first tried this Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Liquid Contour Wand I was a little concerned. I used a little swipe on my cheekbone (straight on my skin), blended it out, and... it almost disappeared (ALMOST... the result was extremely subtle and natural looking). I went in on my chin with a lot more, tried to blend it... It was impossible to blend. It moved around too much, and I had to wipe it off. Finally, I went back in repeating my first application style, I let it fully dry down, and then I did it again, and it built up nicely. I also tried it by applying to to my brush first, and I felt I had more control and it was even easier to blend and build. I love makeup, but I am not a full-face girly, and I find it's hard to find contour products that really hold without a foundation of foundation--Charlotte passes the test! Moisturized skin and a setting spray are all you need.
