Wow, I really like the feel of this concealer !! It has a feeling of a somewhat sticky heavyweight cream that is applied from a modified doe-foot applicator !! It goes on so easily and it has amazing coverage properties. It's substantial, and covers well with the wand applicator. It is said to be creaseless, so I'm going to have to get back to about that one in a few months as the color I received is just a little too dark for me in the winter. I mean a little, just a teeny little bit too dark. This formula is said to be moisturizing due to the addition of hyaluronic acid and squalene. It also say it has elastic stretch properties, which I think is what I felt, to make the formula undetectable with a weightless finish. I can attest to the weightless finish. I tried a little on my hand so I could really feel and see without the need of a mirror. Even though I thought it was a little too dark for winter skin, It almost matches up perfectly. It feels smooth on my hand, and it covers imperfections really well. The formula is matte, so there is no glow to it, just a silky feeling matte coverage. You'll really want to make sure you match really well when purchasing. The applicator has two functions, it has a micro dot coverage on the tip and more coverage with the flattened doe-foot side of the applicator. It's really just like a lip gloss applicator. It really works well though. You want to be precise with your concealing, especially under the eyes. I haven't tried it there yet, but that is where I really need the most concealing pretty much in line with someone my age. Charlotte has products for every age group, and I definitely like to use them. I've received other Charlotte Tilbury products to review and I've never tried one I didn't like. I may be a little biased, but I'm letting you know !! The price is in line with other products such as this from more premium manufacturers of cosmetics. It looks exactly as it is depicted on Amazon.

In my 40 years on this planet, I somehow managed to avoid Charlotte Tilbury entirely. Not because I was anti-luxury, but because I kept asking myself one very reasonable question: Can a concealer that costs three times my drugstore favorite really be that different? Short answer: yes. Longer answer: I am now emotionally invested. Let’s start with packaging, because first impressions matter. This feels luxe in the hand and looks gorgeous sitting on the counter. The embellished lid is one of those small details that makes you feel fancy even if you’re applying makeup in pajamas. The triangle doe-foot applicator is genuinely useful, not just decorative. The precision tip lets you dot exactly where you need coverage, while the wider center spreads and blends effortlessly. Now the important part: coverage and color. Shade 8.5 Medium-Tan is a warm medium tan that somehow avoids the dreaded orange undertone. If you’ve ever tried to find a warm concealer that doesn’t turn you into a traffic cone, you’ll understand why this matters. It covers dark circles, redness, and little “life happened” blemishes without looking heavy or mask-like. The formula is where this concealer really flexes. It goes on like a liquid, blends like a dream, and then sets down to a soft, natural matte finish that feels almost powdery—but not dry. It has enough slip to work with your fingers, which I tested extensively because laziness is my brand. No tugging, no patchiness, no panic blending. As for creasing and longevity, I put this through a very unglamorous stress test. No primer. No setting spray. Just concealer under my eyes, on my forehead, and chin. Then I went for a long walk with my dog, followed by hours of gardening, sweating, bending, and questioning my life choices. The concealer stayed put. No creasing. No settling. No disappearing act. It genuinely looked intact at the end of the day. Despite the staying power, removal was easy. A bit of cleansing oil and it came off without any aggressive scrubbing, which my skin appreciates. Is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes. Between the coverage, the non-orange warmth, the crease resistance, and the wear time, this earns its price tag. I didn’t want to be converted—but here I am, converted. Five stars, and a quiet apology to my old $12 concealers.
