Included are a 120V 25A TT-30R outlet, a 120V 20 A household duplex outlet (5-20R), plus a 12V automotive-style outlet, and Parallel outlets. This inverter operates at 64 dBA from 23 feet. Just add oil (included 10W-30), and operate your Dual-Fuel generator right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with the EZ Start dial. When the 1.54-gallon tank of gasoline is full, the 149cc Champion engine produces 4000 starting watts and 3000 running watts and will run for up to 10 hours at 25% load. Designed for safety with a low oil shut-off sensor, this model has a 0.5-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30). Champion’s Inverter Technology includes smart Economy Mode, which monitors the electrical load to reduce engine speed, noise, and fuel consumption. Fully assembled with hassle-free setup, the built-in carrying handle makes transport a cinch. Buy this EPA certified generator with confidence – Champion Support and our nationwide network of service centers will back up your purchase with a 3-year limited warranty and FREE lifetime technical support. CO Shield technology monitors the accumulation of carbon monoxide (CO), a poisonous gas produced by engine exhaust when the generator is running. If CO Shield detects unsafe elevated levels of CO gas, it automatically shuts off the engine. CO Shield is not a substitute for an indoor carbon monoxide alarm or for safe operation. DO NOT allow engine exhaust fumes to enter a confined area through windows, doors, vents or other openings. Generators must ALWAYS be used outdoors, far away from occupied buildings with engine exhaust pointed away from people and buildings. Meets the requirements of ANSI/PGMA G300-2018.

  • Reliable Generator – Perfect for Work and Home Backup
I got the Champion 4000-Watt Dual Fuel Inverter Generator mainly for work, and it’s been a solid purchase. I transport cars in an enclosed trailer and use it to run my vacuum for cleaning inside. It handles that with no problem and has plenty of power. We’ve also used it at home during outages, and it’s such a relief knowing we have backup power ready. I love the dual fuel option — switching between gas and propane is super easy. Easy to use: Setup was quick, and it didn’t take long to figure out how to run it. Portable: The handle makes it easy to move around, which is great since I take it with me often. Noise: Not silent, but quieter than other generators I’ve had, and the sound doesn’t bother me while I’m working. Overall, this generator is reliable, versatile, and simple to use. Perfect for both work and home. Definitely recommend it if you need portable power with the flexibility of dual fuel ... show more

  • Good portable generator
Purchased this to run my camper, It worked great! some notes, If you want long life out of this generator, run the generator for the 5-6 hours break in and then change the oil. do this before putting heavy load on the generator. the dual fuel capability is very nice, but the estimated run time is only for an unloaded idling generator. running the camper AC on a 90 Deg F day cut the propane run time to 10 hours and gas run time to 5 hours. (to be expected) Starting on propane is not as easy as starting on Gas, but both are fairly straight forward. Once running this is fairly quiet, we put it on the back side of the camper and could barely hear it. This being an inverter style it is fairly compact and relatively light (as compared to similar output generators) which makes it nice for loading in the camper or using around the farm. ... show more

  • Great generator for my set up!
Got this for my camper because it had the large 240 plug! Generator is Smaller and quieter than expected! I use this for my camper and if I am running ac or anything large the generator ramps up and can be mildly loud however for most devices it’s running at idle and very quiet. I put it behind my camper and from my other side I can barely hear it running in very rural private land. Heavy but not too heavy! Starts up great for now! Just like any motor it’s about how you take care of it! Check that oil! ... show more

  • A bit loud, but lots of power, initial problem running on propane
I currently own a pair of Champion 2500W dual fuel inverter generators, along with a 50 amp parallel kit. When I saw that Champion came out with a 4000W dual fuel inverter model at a very reasonable price, I decided that having a 3rd one around the house wouldn't be a bad idea due to periodic power failures in the area. I had read some reviews indicating that they had issues running this 4000W model on propane, but thought to myself that they must not be following the directions in the owners manual. Well... I followed the instructions to the letter, and no matter how hard I tried I could not get it to run off of a brand new (and full) 20 pound propane tank. I gave up after about 45 minutes and filled the gas tank with fresh gasoline. I put the dial on the "choke" setting, and after 1 pull it started right up and I moved the dial to the "gasoline" setting. I ran the generator on gasoline for about 90 minutes to break it in, and then began applying small loads. It worked perfectly. The next day, I tried the propane again, and now it's working perfectly on propane. I don't understand why it needed to be broken in on gasoline first, but I drained the gas tank and will mostly run this generator off of propane. The biggest differences between my new 4000W dual fuel model and my pair of 2500W dual fuels are: (1) the weight (the 4000W model is 52 pounds as opposed to 39 pounds for the 2500W model - at 70 years old this 13 pound difference is noticeable), and (2) the noise level (64dBA from 23 feet with 25% load, as opposed to 53 dBA from 23 feet with 25% load) - this is a fairly significant difference, and my research indicates that the 4000W model could reach 70dBA at full load. All of this being said, I think that the new 4000W dual fuel model is decent, especially since it is RV ready. It has both a 30 amp RV plug, as well as a 20 amp receptacle. Until there's a power outage at home, I take to the storage lot where my motorhome is so that I can power it up and run one of the air conditioners while I'm working on it. The price I paid ($699) is not too bad, especially since I paid $630 for EACH of my 2500W dual fuel Champions back in 2022. ... show more

  • 2 bad generators in a row.
I bought this gen back on March 23, 2025. By April 14th it stopped and wouldn't start again. I called Champion and they had me do things like check the plug, oil etc.. and they came to the conclusion that It was one of 2 parts needing replacement. They sent me the parts, but there was no way to get into where the parts were. I called back and got a different service person who said they were all wrong and I need another part instead of the ones they sent. Then she said I need to prove I bought the generator. I sent them a copy of the Amazon receipt and was told that would not pass for a receipt. I finally got so disgusted, I called Amazon and told them the story. They said that's the only receipts they have. They said don't bother sending it back, and Amazon simply replaced it. That was great of Amazon. It is now 3 months later in July and this generator started white smoke, no electric and I shut it off. I waited a bit and pushed all the resets and it started and ran like new for about 1 minute and then shut off. I saw I needed to change the LPG tank and then I couldn't get it started again. I've only ran LPG in it because it's cheaper and easier Now it won't start period. So, here I am calling and calling and waiting and waiting and it's a 20+ minute wait and then they closed. The warranty and website say 24/7 support, but that's not true. It's 8 - 8 eastern time. I'm out in the wilderness with a 3 month old broken generator and no support. Today is the 18th so I am 4 days past Amazon's return days. 2 bad generators in a row in just 3 months I run the generator for 1 hr. mornings and evenings unless there's rain or clouds. I run solar the rest of the days. ... show more
