Description

The Champion Power Equipment 4500-Watt Inverter Generator with CO Shield® is ultra-quiet and ideal for camping, tailgating, powering items around the RV or providing backup for your essentials. Champion’s EZ Start Dial makes getting started quick and easy. This unit features Cold Start Technology, Extended Run Time, and an easy to read fuel gauge. With a 0.5-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30) and a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter operates at an ultra- quiet 61dBA from 23 feet, which is about as loud as normal speech. The no tool access panel and oil drain tube allow for easy maintenance. Confidently connect your sensitive electronics since this inverter produces Clean Power (less than 3% THD). Operate your Dual Fuel inverter right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with the EZ Start dial. When the 2.3-gallon tank of gasoline is full, the 212cc Champion engine produces 4500 starting watts and 3500 running watts and will run for up to 14 hours at 25% load. When using a 20-pound propane tank, it produces 4500 starting watts and 3150 running watts and will run for up to 21 hours at 25% load. The covered outlets in this RV Ready inverter include a 120V 30A RV (TT-30R), a 120V 20A household duplex outlet (5-20R), and a 12V regulated automotive outlet. The optional Parallel Kit (sold separately), with included standard 50-amp RV outlet, allows you to increase output by connecting up to two inverters. The never flat tires and fold-down handle make transport a cinch. Shared the electrical load beautifully. I have a food truck inside my food truck is 4 freezer 7.1 cubic feet 1 commercial Refrigerator 3 vitamix blender POS SYSTEM, lights, food warmer, 2 commercial fan, and I am working from 10am to sometimes 10pm I have to stop to fill out the tank, I had many generators, non bred name more powe 6000 watt and 8000 watt they always follow short in one day they may shut himself off more then 6 times because of electricity, peek time I forgot to tell you I only had them 6 months but I had 4 Champion from 8 years of my working never had a problem I work them from 10 to 10 every day for 8 months of the year one year I had parking problems I had to run my generators I had 2 for24 house for 7 months yes I had to replace them in 2 years but I had to start one in morning and replace it with the other bond for running in the night, thenI have to Come back in the morning and run the other generator do the same thing in the night for 7 months know I have solar battery and solar panel for running in the nights but I still depend on my generator in the morning heavily, very easy to change oil, very smart thinking. Not a most generator have that easy change oil, I change oil every week the amount of work I do, i purchased this for $650, that is worth every penny, The portability is fantastic—it's easy to move, and it’s surprisingly quiet. I don't have a lot of experience with generators but when the storms decimated NW Indiana this summer, this was a lifesaver. I was able to run my fridge and 2 freezers, charge my phone and tablet, run a SMART TV and have 2 fans on. That was only using half of the power I could have used. Great all around. Easy start easy to use. First time I used it we put it the bed of my truck while we powered our camper over night. Truck and camper still hooked up. Only complaint was I had to drop the tailgate to keep the CO2 sensor from shutting it off. Once I figured that out it ran all not blasting the A/C and never heard it running. So we bought this Gen for a hunting trip in the desert where temps will exceed 100. We currently have a Honda 3000 that we love but this one was purchased to abuse on this upcoming trip. I have not had the trip yet as it's in September but I have used it at our property for the break in and then to run the AC during the day on the RV. So far we are quite impressed with it. If this thing continues to be the beast it has been for the last 30 hours of use, I may replace my Honda with this. It's quiet, fuel efficient, large fuel tank hour meter and easy as hell to do an oil change. My goal is after every 50 hours do an oil change on my gens to keep them well maintained as we depend on them. This one so far is exceeding my expectations however I will update on this upcoming abusive trip. On this trip approaching will be a true test of this things ability. I have noticed it is a little difficult to start, however that may be due to the altitude I was at. I will update you all in September. Update! So we tested not only one of these Gens but 3 identical 4500 champion gens. These things ran for 9 days 24 hours a day experienced 100+ temps, rain, dust storms and heavy loads. This Gen may not be as quiet as the Honda however it's durable as hell. We did exceed our oil change interval to every 50 hours with synthetic oil and placed them off the ground to assist with cooling. If these can take the real world abuse of the Arizona desert Dove hunt camp we have every year, they get a 5 star in my book. All 3 gens preformed identical. No issues. Can't wait till next year we may test another brand just for fun. ... show more
