Description

The Champion Power Equipment 4500-Watt Inverter Generator with CO Shield® is ultra-quiet and ideal for camping, tailgating, powering items around the RV or providing backup for your essentials. Champion’s EZ Start Dial makes getting started quick and easy. This unit features Cold Start Technology, Extended Run Time, and an easy to read fuel gauge. With a 0.5-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30) and a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter operates at an ultra- quiet 61dBA from 23 feet, which is about as loud as normal speech. The no tool access panel and oil drain tube allow for easy maintenance. Confidently connect your sensitive electronics since this inverter produces Clean Power (less than 3% THD). Operate your Dual Fuel inverter right out of the box on gasoline or propane, and easily switch fuels with the EZ Start dial. When the 2.3-gallon tank of gasoline is full, the 212cc Champion engine produces 4500 starting watts and 3500 running watts and will run for up to 14 hours at 25% load. When using a 20-pound propane tank, it produces 4500 starting watts and 3150 running watts and will run for up to 21 hours at 25% load. The covered outlets in this RV Ready inverter include a 120V 30A RV (TT-30R), a 120V 20A household duplex outlet (5-20R), and a 12V regulated automotive outlet. The optional Parallel Kit (sold separately), with included standard 50-amp RV outlet, allows you to increase output by connecting up to two inverters. The never flat tires and fold-down handle make transport a cinch. Perfect for running your RV while boondocking! The generator is quiet and very efficient. This generator powered our RV for 4 days an only used 13 gallons of propane. Very portable and quiet. The hight also allowes it to be stored under a truck bed cover of a Chevrolet Silverado.

    • Good generator, and runs quiet for 4500 watts.
Nice and quiet. Love how they now have a Lithium Ion starting battery. No more lead acid batteries dying every 2 months or the hassle of needing to keep on a battery tender/trickle charger. Ran it 5 hours with varying loads as suggested in the manual then changed the oil. Put the oil back in the bottle that came with the generator to see if what I put in was what I got out. Didn't use any oil at all, which is nice because this thing only takes 1 pint to fill. No surprises in the oil, the oil was grey in color from the aluminum breakin process, but no sparklies or any metal filings. Very easy to change the oil, literally no tools needed. Use an old 8" aluminum pie pan to catch the oil, and you can bend one edge into a funnel shape to put the oil back in a bottle for recycling. The included funnel makes oil filling a piece of cake. I also have the 2500 watt suitcase version of this inverter and it's been good too so far a couple years later. ... show more

I live in Florida where hurricanes happen, so a generator is a must. This is my third generator and a better machine than the rest. It starts immediately with the electric start and runs both propane and gas beautifully. I detach the battery when not in use so that it doesn't run down from sitting. I'm living in jamaica and I purchased the champion dual fuel inverter generator just after hurricane beryl in 2024 and now I'm finally getting to use it after hurricane Melissa devastated my island. It's have been over a month with no electricity from the grid. I got a certified electrician to wire it up to the breaker panels to power up my entire apartment. Weighting just under 100 pounds which is not too heavy for lifting is good but the wheels and folding handles makes it very easy to carry around the yard not too loud but could have been a little more quiet.this model in particular is not equipped with the remote starter feature. Please read and follow the service manual for care I instructions. I have not experienced any issues thus far so I consider to be very durable.
