I really like Champion clothing but they are made and cut differently than Nike and other atheltic wear makers. Most people buying XXL or XL clothes fall into two categories: Men who are tall and slim and need longer fits for the torso and arms and Men who are heavier and need more room in the torso. I fall into the latter category and this pullover falls into the former. The fit and finish is excellent, just as you would expect from Champion. The issue for me is two fold. First, the fit is definitely more for a tall man than a heavier man. It's not too tight, like some Under Armor, but there definitely isn't that much room in the torso and the arms were way long for me. So make sure you are in the tall and slim crowd for this top. Second, I would definitely not call this a sun shirt. The fabric is a heavier type fabric, definitely not the sun shirt type from Nike and UA. This is more a medium weight pullover and a very nice one at that, but way too heavy and thick for just sun or UV protection. So in the end, it gets 4 stars for the weight of the pullover and the fit for me, although I could see it working well for others. ... show more
